It's not too strong. I haven't seen any irritation with my skin and I have sensitive skin, but I've only seen that this leaves my face feeling super clean, but not tight or dry at all. And it foams, which I like, but not too much, so it doesn't strip my face of all its natural oils. It also smells great and comes in a nice glass bottle, so it looks really, really pretty on your vanity.
