The Desert Road Trip Palm Palette by BAKEUP Beauty caught Perri's attention with its beautiful neutral tones and mica-based formula, which excludes talc. Perri found the pocket-sized palette to be petite, but the plastic enclosure and pans gave off a dollar store makeup vibe. However, the swatches were buildable and not highly pigmented on the first swipe. Perri applied all the shades, except for the middle two, and found them to be blendable, almost to a fault. If you prefer a light powdery formula, this palette might be perfect for you. The shadows reminded Perri of Smashbox shadows. Overall, the Desert Road Trip Palm Palette offers a unique mica-based formula and buildable shades, but the packaging could be improved.
