I love a product that multitasks and this overnight mask tans while it treats. It has hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to hydrate, plump, and brighten your skin and to treat signs of aging. So some people said it doesn't give much color, other people said that they woke up and were like they had a lot of color on. So I'm going to go in with a light hand and just see what happens and we can add more if I need to. It says to use before any other products and to wait until the color has developed before you apply anything over it. So that could be why people are noticing different amounts of tan later on. Definitely I'm feeling tanner and my skin feels pretty soft. So all in all, I definitely like that. I mean, I love a product, like I said, that multitasks. So the fact that I woke up feeling not only tanner, but also like glowy and my skin is really smooth.

I just got this Bondi Sands Pure Self-Tanning Sleep Mask. It says it's for all skin tones. I have a light to medium skin tone or fair to light. I'm going to put it on right now. It says to put it on at night, over a face, clean, dry, and then it says wash thoroughly after use. So I'm guessing it will turn my hands orange. Do not apply any under skin care. So I just took a shower and washed my face. So I'm not going to moisturize or anything and I'm just going to put this on. I'm going to wear it overnight and then I will film how I look in the morning. I'll show you real quick what I look like right now and then we'll compare to the color I have in the morning. This is what I look like right now. So obviously I'm very pale. I'm going to self-tan my body too with something else, but this is my face and we'll see what it looks like in the morning.

It's an overnight mask that tans your face while you sleep. And my issue with it is not that it doesn't work, because it actually works really well. I used it last night and in just one use. As you can see, my skin's really tan, glowy, and even. My issue is that it contains vitamin C. Now, you might be wondering why this is an issue, but hear me out. Typically, vitamin C is used in the morning. That's because all of the active ingredients that you use at night, like retinol, salicylic acid, benzyl peroxide, etc., cannot be used with vitamin C. So having an overnight product with vitamin C in it will negatively interact with all the active ingredients that you use in your skincare. So if you do want to use this product, I recommend either skipping your active ingredients for the night, not using any retinol or whatever it is that you use on your face, or using this in the morning on a day that you don't have to wear makeup and letting it sit all day.
