Say it with me, botanical republic, not banana republic, which is what I've been saying. Anyway, oils are my favorite way to remove makeup because they're nourishing and really soft and gentle on the skin. I like this set because it comes with the oil so you remove your makeup and then you have the cleanser to wash your face right after and the oil can also be used for shaving so that's amazing.

I actually wore makeup today so I'm gonna go see how this double cleansing duo by Botanical Republic works out. First we start with the oil and I gotta say I was actually really impressed by this stuff. As soon as I got my face wet after cleansing for 60 seconds I could see all of the impurities that were pulled out. Next is the emollient cleanser. This is more of like a cream based cleanser but it's still like the oil felt really good on the skin. I cleansed my skin with this for another 60 seconds and then I did the swipe test and it passed. It felt really nice on the skin too.

I love a good cleansing duo. First I use the hydrating cleansing oil to remove all makeup and dirt from my face. This completely takes off my makeup and I don't even have to use any makeup remover. It also removes any excess oil and dirt without disturbing the skin's natural microbiome. It leaves my skin feeling super soft. Then I just wash away all the oil from my face so I can use the cleanser. This gentle emollient cleanser gets deep and nourishes on a cellular level, meaning it doesn't strip your skin and leaves your complexion smooth. This cleanser felt so nice and gentle on my face. I have sensitive skin and am prone to acne breakouts and this didn't cause any redness. I highly recommend this duo.

In case you haven't already caught on, I love everything that these guys do. I'm about halfway through the first toner that I got from them, so I had to try out this one. Now this first toner that I got is the Radiant Hydrating Toner, but I wanted to try out the Invigorate Refreshing Toner from these guys. I love that all of these guys' stuff comes in really nice, high quality glass bottles. They are a small business, so of course their stuff is a little bit pricier, but you know what, I will tell you, they last a lot longer. This has been my toner for the last three months, and it's only about halfway through.

Botanical Republic's Radiant Hydrating Toner. First of all, this bottle is gorgeous. I love simple, pretty bottles like this. It looks so pretty in my bathroom. And with toners, I'm used to having something that I put in a cotton pad and I spread it on my face. This is a spray bottle. This is so practical. I have no idea why more people do not do this and more companies do not do this because this makes it so easy. But this helps with tight, dry skin. It gives you a nice radiance. So it helps with hydrating. And a nice glowy look, you shake it beforehand, just spray it right on. It's so simple. And I've actually found that I really like using this as a setting spray, like a primer underneath my makeup as well. But yeah, I love it.

All right, so I have cleansed my skin and now I am going to do a little bit of hydration before I put on my serums and moisturizer. I'm using the Radiant Hydrating Toner from Botanical Republic. This is a rose water based hydrating toner. We all know that I love a good mist. Living in Los Angeles, it's just such a great way to bring an extra boost of hydration to the skin. I really like the way it smells. It's got that nice light rose fragrance to it. Very hydrating. I'm not feeling irritated from it. So this is definitely a win for me. I am a big fan.

I obviously like these guys a lot, that's why I had to re-up before I ran out. This is the Gentle Emollient Cleanser from Botanical Republic. It's my second step in my double cleansing routine at night. I like these guys for a multitude of reasons, but I'll just sum it up as fast as I possibly can for you. They have a lot of really good ingredients in this formula. The first one is calendula flower water. There's also aloe juice, apricot oil, coconut, white willow, mango, and then I personally like good smelling stuff. I know fragrance isn't for everybody, but I love the way that this stuff smells. It's not too overpowering, it's just a really nice, very light scent. After I'm done cleansing with this, my face doesn't feel super dried out. It doesn't even feel like I need to put on moisturizer, even though I do. And just in case you're wondering what the scent is, there's lavender, there's rosemary, but to me it smells almost kind of like patchouli. I don't know why, I think my nose is like that.

Hi guys, so I am currently trying out the Emolint cleanser from Botanical Republic. This is supposed to be a gentle hydrating cleanser. I already did an oil cleanse before I started cleansing my skin with this. It does have a lot of grass extracts in it. It's got calendula, which is pretty high up on the ingredient list. So already it's kind of stinging and burning a tiny bit. It's because I am prone to seasonal allergies. So this might not be the best cleanser for me because I am feeling a little irritated from it due to some of those flower extracts in it.
