Yana here, and I'm so excited to talk about our cleanse shampoo, which is one of my favorites, and it also was the hardest product that I've ever formulated. It took over three years to formulate, and why did it take so long? Because we tried something that we thought was impossible to formulate a plant-based shampoo that generally works for all hair types. So instead of releasing five different shampoos and conditioners, we decided to release one shampoo and one conditioner that generally work for all hair types. And what I love about this product is that it does work for all hair types, and instead of many shampoos which strip your hair of its natural oils, this one doesn't. It has a beautiful blend of plant-based surfactants of cocoa glucoside and deco glucoside that effectively lather and cleanse hair, but don't leave it.

Yana here and I am so excited to talk about our hydrate conditioner, which is part of this dream duo of the cleanse shampoo and the hydrate conditioner. They go together so well! Our goal, which was a hard goal, was to create a shampoo and conditioner that generally worked for all hair types. So my goal with formulating the conditioner was to create a really creamy, luscious conditioner that nourished hair, but once you rinse it out, it doesn't weigh your hair down. It has no buildup. So that was a challenge, but we did it!

I love the concept of this brand, but the formula is just too thin and watery for my damaged hair.

Okay, this is the Captain Blankenship conditioner. I chose this as a product in my most recent order because I want some conditioner that I can, I like having liquid conditioner. I've been trying the bars which are great, but I like to take conditioner and put it into like a spray bottle with some water to see, to moisturize my hair. Okay, so this is a very milky consistency. The smell, I don't know how to describe it. It's almost like a coconut milk smell. I don't know, it's a little different. But the one thing I do notice about this, the packaging, it's gorgeous. I thought this was going to be like a stainless steel, but it sounds like a thick glass or some sort of ceramic or something. So I really like the packaging. It won't flip over easily in the shower, which will be nice. So it does have aloe and shea butter too, and it is a Clean Beauty brand.

I'm going to show you how to get your hair from this to this with Captain Blankenship's Hair and Scalp Serum used four different ways. So I'm on day eight of not washing my hair. Kind of gross, I know. So as a pre-shampoo treatment, I'm going to go in with a few drops of this all over my scalp and hair. This technique is really great if you have a dry scalp or just in need of some extra hydration. Another way I love using this oil is in the shower after I shampoo. So I'll take a couple pumps of my conditioner and a couple pumps of the oil and apply this onto my hair. Let this sit for a few minutes and then I'll just rinse it out a few times to make sure all the product is out. After a quick rough dry with my blow dryer, my hair is definitely frizzy. I like to add a couple drops throughout my whole head just to get rid of that frizz and add shine. I mean, look at that. It's giving shiny. It's giving nourished. Then finally, after I curl my hair as a last step, I like to apply a couple drops to the ends of my hair and it really just seals the deal.

So I decided to give this a try and I put it on one side of my hair and I'm this is going to be such a short review to tell you you need this this is incredible look at this side I don't know if you guys can tell look I haven't even brushed my hair nothing

Welcome back mother flippers. Today I am reviewing the Captain Blankenship Texture Seat Salt Spray with aloe and seaweed. So I have a feeling that my hair has some texture to it but because I use heating products on it almost every day it's kind of gone now. So this was after a couple of hours of having the spray in. My hair is pretty dang straight still but after I went to sleep, threw it in a bun and took it out, this is what I was left with. So I think this would be great for those heatless curls, sleeping with something that is going to curl your hair overnight, at least until I'm able to get my natural curl back. I'll give this a 6 out of 10.
