um this is my second caraway purchase off of flip in a month so this is the white whistling tea kettle so freaking cute um also made from non-toxic materials and it comes with a mitt because the handle does get hot so there i am filling it up they said it won't whistle unless the cap is on tight so that's why i'm like pushing it down but listen to the whistle okay and it also took about 15 ah no probably like 20 minutes to boil so there i'm making tea and try it out it is cute though

You know what that sound is? Me needing a low effort meal and making ramen because boiling water is the bane of my existence. So I've been looking for a gooseneck kettle for a long time and granted this is not a gooseneck kettle but it is hefty and sturdy. It is literally too hot to handle. They also are so cute and give you a pot holder and they have a little max fill line inside that way you don't overfill and have the water spill out of your kettle. Now we wait. Once you hear it screaming it's done. Maybe because it's my first kettle I didn't know what to expect to hear when it was whistling. I thought it would sound like a bird or something. Oh my gosh, this color. Stop. I am obsessed. I definitely feel like every stovetop needs its centerpiece and as you can probably tell I'm a huge fan of neutrals and keeping everything very animalistic, but adding pops of color every now and then is so important for me. I also make tea literally every single night and I've been wanting a tea kettle so bad. Obsessed to say the least.

It was about time I upgraded my hand-me-down tea kettle that was made from who knows what kind of toxic materials. I chose the Carraway Whistling Tea Kettle. It's a $245 tea kettle. Not only is it a true, like, statement piece for your stove top, it's also made from non-toxic materials so you can boil your water free of any kind of chemicals. They don't use Teflon, no PFOAs or PFAs, and it's also free of lead and cadmium. It's definitely a splurge, but I will say it's even more beautiful and better quality in person than I was expecting. It's definitely a kitchen item that I'll use probably almost every day and have for hopefully decades to come. It's the luxury tea kettle I didn't know I needed, but now I can't live without it.

Okay, I won't lie, $200 is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a tea kettle. But if you're going to, you might as well get this one. It's so pretty. I just, I leave it on my stove top all the time. It looks like this. And it boils quickly. It's non-toxic. And it comes with a nice little holder for when the handle gets hot. They thought of everything. It's a nice tea kettle. It's expensive, but it's very nice.
