Did not have much color payoff using a brush. Beautiful color when applied with finger. Super pretty rose gold shade that shimmers in the light. Perfect everyday lid color.

Oops, I did it again and I'm not sorry. So I got another Shantakai shadow. This one is zebra and it supports the Grevy's Zebra Trust and their important work protecting this endangered zebra species and its fragile habitat in Kenya. We love it. Little zebra friend. It's a really nice subtle rose gold. That is so pretty. I could see this being a really pretty topper and a really pretty highlighter on a more deeper skin tone especially, but it's stunning. I really like it. And you support zebras.

Let me teach you how to simplify the coveted smoky eye. I'm going to be using this olive shade from Chantecaille, but you can use literally whatever you want. And just make sure you're strong enough to open it. I'm starting out with a little bit of bronzer, blend it out in my crease, but you could do that before or after this step, but the point is, get messy. Just put the eyeliner everywhere because you're just going to smudge it out. Then you're going to blend it, and then you're going to go back and repeat. And what I really want to stress to you is to just be patient. Smoky eyes aren't really that hard, it's just tedious because you're putting down product, blending it away, and then having to put it back. And the best part is, you could do literally whatever shape you want. I'm kind of going with the shape of my eye, but you could just do this all over your lid if you wanted to. And lastly, just top it with an eyeshadow so it doesn't move. I know this can be kind of daunting, but once you get that technique down, you're going to be doing it like it's your job.

This olive pencil by Chantecaille, I think it's the best pencil for green eyes. Just look how it complements my green eyes. But even if you have blue or brown eyes, it doesn't matter. The color is so beautiful. It's not green in your face. It's olive with a very gentle gold metallic effect. And I think it will look good on any eyes, but for my green eyes, this is like the most beautiful pencil ever.
