Hi you guys, today I'm going to review the Charlotte Cooke Cosmetic Clean Liquid Lipstick in the shade Monaco. Just to preface real quick, I've been vegan for 7 years and I love all things natural so I really don't want to bash on this product but it's one of the only products I have nothing positive to say about and although I really don't want to harm a brand who shares my morals, I can't lie about the product either. So that kind of brings us to the first item that I want to mention, the color specifically. So this is what Monaco is supposed to look like, which is not what I received. It's supposed to be a burnt, you know, red kind of tint. This is very orange, very bright yellowy orange. So that wasn't ideal. But I tried it anyways, you know, the flip team was great, we kind of communicated about what I could do, if I could return it or not but since it was a free item, it didn't work out that way. So I tried it and sadly I don't really have much positive to say about the...

Sadly I don't really have much positive to say about the formulation either. It's kind of streaky, a little bit thin, thinner than I'd like, and somewhat oily. And there's a lot of oils in the product itself, you know, sunflower, coconut oil, jojoba seed oil, but although they're supposed to be moisturizing, this doesn't really feel moisturizing. It really just feels like a slick on top of the lips. And it was kind of sandy or grainy as well. I'm not sure if the product just wasn't mixed through very well. But yeah, I'm not a big fan of the way it looks on me either, so I really don't have anything positive to say about this, which I feel really bad about. It was just really thin and it kind of made a mess, but you know, you guys let me know what you think. Yeah, not a big fan.
