What I did: - Replaced the broken rattan - Built a custom base from reclaim wood - Filled damage with @gorksgoodfilla pre mixed rosewood water based wood filler - Steamed out scratches - Sanded the piece with @seriousgrit sanding pads - Sealed the piece with @Zinsser Sealcoat Dewaxed Shellac - Performed color touchups with @mohawkfinishing Blendals, powder stains, and graining pens - Sprayed toner (Zinsser sealcoat + Transtint medium brown dye) to even out the wood tones - Top coated the piece with @geminiindustries Evo clear – Satin Sheen
