While the design of this piece was top of the line the condition was far from it. Clearly, it was time for a full restoration to bring this back to its former glory. What I did: -  Glued down any loose veneer with @titebondwoodproducts wood glue -   Patched any missing veneer with salvaged vintage walnut veneer - Filled any voids with @jbweldDIY 2 part epoxy putty tinted with mohawk powder stains -   Reglued the entire base -  Sanded the original finish off with @3Mabrasives Cubitron sanding pads -   Sealed the piece with @Zinsser Sealcoat -   Performed color touchups with @mohawkfinishing Blandals, powder stains, and graining pens -   Sprayed a light coat of toner (Zinsser sealcoat + Transtint medium brown dye) -  Topcoated the piece with @geminiindustries Evo clear Satin Sheen
