Put on your sleuthing hat! 🕵🏼♀️ NOT to self-diagnose (don’t recommend) BUT to start learning about labs so you can track patterns and intuitively ask for labs you feel you always need in the future! In between appointments you can perhaps get some “light bulb moments” of things you can kindly show to your doctor (conventional or functional) and say “Hey! I know we only have so much time together. I dug into this. And this is what it means to me and my symptoms. What do you think?” This isn’t medical advice- just sharing what I’ve done over the years and still do a lot of the time! I like to know what’s going on so I can better advocate for myself. This can be a tedious task, so make it fun for yourself! Set up the environment. 🩷
