FLIP COMMUNITY RULES

These guidelines are designed to ensure a positive and engaging environment for all users of Flip. By participating in our community, you agree to abide by these guidelines and contribute to a vibrant and respectful community experience.

Community Rules:

  • Content and Interaction:

    1. Flip is a place for shoppers to engage with other fellow shoppers through honest and authentic product reviews. It will take the community working together to keep it that way.
      1. Product reviews must be about the products. Any review that is not about a product may be removed.
    2. Different viewpoints and feedback is welcomed and encouraged, don’t make it personal. Focus on the feedback and not the person sharing it.
      1. When you’re voting, remember you’re voting about the product and not about the person.
    3. Racial or derogatory language is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. There are other social networks for that, Flip is not one of those.
    4. Do not engage in stalking, threatening, or harassing behavior towards any individual or Flip support. Not cool.
      1. Bullying will also not be tolerated and may result in account removal. If any user is found engaging in bullying behavior towards another user, or Flip Live Support, necessary actions will be taken to ensure a positive and respectful environment for all.
    5. Do not engage in fraudulent, libelous, abusive, obscene, profane, sexually-oriented, or illegal behavior on the Flip platform.
    6. Do not engage in posting, commenting, or resharing of deliberate misinformation.
      1. Misinformation about products or the way Flip operates may result in the account being flagged for review and potential removal from the platform.
  • Sponsorships.

    1. Under no circumstances is any brand allowed to pay any person, either directly or indirectly, in cash, or in products of value in exchange for creating content to be posted on a personal account on Flip. All content on Flip must be generated organically through product purchases or the Free Product Collection and no payment from any 3rd party may be offered, received or exchanged. It’s not needed since Flip rewards the community for engagement with content on the platform, views generated by the content posted on Flip and purchases driven by the posted content.
  • Free Products:

    1. Eligibility criteria for free products:
      1. The free product collection is available to all users who share a video review of a purchase with the Flip community. The number of free items available is based on the purchase amount. You can choose one free item if you have $60 in your cart, 2 free items for $100 or 3 free items for $150 to add to your order. Free items cannot be returned. Post an authentic review of the free products on Flip to continue having access to free products.
      2. Flip reserves the right to offer or remove free products to any user.
    2. Do all users have access to the same free products?
      1. The type of free products offered to users is dependent on good standing with the platform, engagement history, and performance of your video reviews. Users who create content with consistent high-engagement, get access to higher tiered free products.
      2. High-engagement takes into consideration factors such as content reach, follower growth, and level of engagement on each video. These factors reflect the value of your contribution to the community.
      3. Performance is systematically evaluated monthly based on past 60 days performance and access is updated accordingly. This does not affect any other access on Flip, as all users receive equal access to the platform.
    3. Free Products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
    4. Removal of Free Products Eligibility includes, but is not limited to, the following
      1. Content posted by users must adhere to Flip's Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines.
      2. Spamming demotes your account in the feed and will limit your chances of increasing engagement.
        1. Posting more than three reviews tagging the same item within a 24 hour period.
        2. Posting more than five videos within 24 hours.
        3. Spamming also includes excessively reposting reviews or comments.
      3. Fraudulent activity can also lead to complete account removal:
        1. Creating multiple accounts to receive free products.
        2. Ordering products to reach the minimum order amount and returning only the paid items.
        3. Creating multiple accounts with the same or different addresses.
        4. Engaging in fraudulent activity related to the Flip credit or referral program. Any attempts to manipulate or abuse these programs will result in the removal of associated benefits and potential account suspension.
        5. Fraudulent activity can also lead to complete account removal.
      4. Content Violations:
        1. Posting and deleting the same piece of content repeatedly.
        2. Uploading content consisting of a blank screen that provides no information.
        3. Using screenshots or images in place of required videos.
  • Unpaid Balances and Multiple Accounts:

    1. Users are expected to settle any unpaid balances for previously delivered items promptly. Failure to do so may result in the restriction of certain privileges.
    2. Creating multiple accounts is strictly prohibited and may lead to the suspension or termination of all associated accounts.
  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

    1. Do not violate local, national, or international laws, statutes, rules, permits, ordinances, or regulations while using the Flip platform.
    2. Do not interfere with or disrupt the Flip platform, its servers, or the networks connected to the Flip platform.

Please note that these guidelines are subject to change at any time. Flip reserves the right to take appropriate action, including the removal of Free Product eligibility and user accounts, for any other violations deemed necessary to maintain the integrity of the community and the platform.
