Hello friends on Flip! Today I am giving a very interesting update about the DP Hue Blue Shampoo. Obviously this is one of those shampoos that says it's going to help take out brassiness, so I guess it's not necessarily for green hair necessarily, but what's interesting is that I haven't loved the shampoo, so I decided to use it on my makeup brushes because I don't like to waste product. And the interesting thing that happened is that it leaves a blue tinge. And honestly, it makes sense that by leaving behind blue pigment, that is how you would neutralize brassiness or make greens pop harder, but there's also something weird to me about this, right? And the fact that I scrubbed this pretty good and the blue pigment still stayed just kind of freaks me out on a natural products level. Not that this is ever claimed to be that natural, I mean it's blue shampoo, but I just wanted to leave an update that the fragrance and the pigment stuck to my brush.

I have a mess of a color of hair. It does get brassy. It does start to look a little orange. You can see it right now. So I thought that adding in some blue would really make the green pop again. I'm not allowed to color it until I see my hairstylist. That spilled already. Not off to a great start, DP Hue. I opened it to smell it and then left it turned over. It just smells like clean. First and foremost, I am not loving that the cap is not tight and we already spilled product. Closing a curtain three different ways to show that time has passed and I'm showered. Here is the final styled look after I blew it out. It looks more blue-toned on the right side. So I'll have to keep using this product to answer the million dollar question.

Hey there, just came to talk about the DP Hue Brightening Conditioner. So this is meant to help maintain blonde and highlighted hair. I have some highlights in here, but not a ton, so it's kind of hard to see if it's helping with that at all. But because I have curly, sort of wavy hair, I do go through a ton of conditioners, so I'm really excited about this. I like the formula a lot, and when it rinses out it doesn't feel like it's coating my hair, which is super good because I don't want my hair to feel weighted down by everything. And the other thing is that this helps remove chlorine and product buildup, so that's another good thing. I just spent a couple of days in Palm Springs, and my hair definitely got trashed by the pool, but this is super great for getting everything rinsed out.

I'm going to be reviewing this Root Touch Up Kit from DP Hue. This is in dark blonde. It comes with some great accessories, a tub, a brush, shampoo, conditioner to boot. So you're going to mix the cream developers together just like this. You want it to make a fine paste. And when you're done, you are going to apply it to those stubborn gray areas on your hairline just like this. Part down the middle possibly and then different sections. Leave it in for 45 minutes. That's right, 45 minutes, don't cheat. Set a timer. And then this is my final product. Looks really nice. It covered all my stubborn grays. It blended super well. I think my hair looks really healthy and shiny and glossy. I love it.
