I tried retinol for the first time and this is what I think. Retinol has always been a scary product for me because I know once you start you can't really go back and it's really harsh. But these Dr. Jart pads actually didn't make me red and didn't make me break out but I've only used it once so let's see.

Mid-20s, you need to get on your retinol game. Start sooner rather than later. This will keep you looking younger. It's one of the only things that actually has proven results. Retinol fixes skin texture issues, acne problems, cystic acne problems, and gives a youthful glow. I never got compliments on my skin until I incorporated retinol into my skincare routine. Ease into it, do once a week, and see the benefits.

So you'll notice that the pad is textured and that is going to help exfoliate as you're applying the product to your skin. Actually, it's pretty cool because it has retinol, buckuchil, rambutan, and ferulic acid. So it's got a lot of cell-renewing ingredients that is going to just rejuvenate your skin. I've been using this now for about a full week. My skin did break out a little bit when I first started using it, maybe the first two or three days, which normally happens whenever I use a new retinol. Retinol is a very strong ingredient and this is a very strong retinol, so this is not for beginners. But as you can see, my skin is looking much better. Six days in, I do have, you know, a little breakout, a little zit right there, but nothing too drastic. It does have a very strong, I want to say minty type of smell. It does make my face feel a little bit sticky at times after I use it, so you want to make sure that you go in with a nice moisturizing cream right afterwards. Overall, this retinol gets an A+.

I've been using the Dr. Dennis Grove's overnight wrinkle treatment with retinol and ferulic acid. As you can see, the consistency is thin and it absorbs very easily. I've been using it twice a week as a first step in my skincare routine. It doesn't leave my skin dry or irritated like other retinol. Don't forget your nails.

Honestly, it helps with anti-aging, dark spots, acne, anything you can think of. You swipe on that first step, neutralize it with the second. Super easy to use. I absolutely love these.
