Alright, today we have the Ceramidin serum from Dr. Jart. For those of you that don't know, using a serum is something you should do after cleansing your skin and using a toner. There are lots of different serums, but this one focuses on moisturizing. This is actually a cream-based serum and the texture is super smooth and nice. I gently apply it to my skin, patting a little bit and moving upwards in little circles. Since this one is cream-based, it applies so smoothly and I feel like my skin looks visually smoother after. If you have dry skin, this is a great one. Definitely will be using in the future.

I'm going to be reviewing Dr. Jart's Ceramidin Serum. The packaging is so adorable with a pop of yellow color and the cap stays on securely. As for the texture, it has a brownish tint and it absorbs really nicely. It is also super lightweight, which is perfect for the summer. It also is super hydrating and it did not break me out, which is a good thing. It's also very easy to layer other products on and it has no harsh smell and no irritation.

This is Dr. Jart's Moisturizing Treatment Serum. And this is what it looks like. It's like a brownish tint, but it's really hydrating. I used two pumps in the morning and at night, and it has really helped my skin barrier. And it has no harsh smells, no strong smells, and it didn't irritate my super sensitive skin. So I really like this.

This is my skin the morning after. I just feel like I look really hydrated, moisturized, and smooth. After exfoliation, I use a technique called slugging. I start with a wet face so hyaluronic acid can hold water in my skin. Then I go in with this peptide complex. I love this one by The Ordinary. It's key to stick to hydrating ingredients. This is a hydrating toner that I love, but I'm not going to use any actives. No vitamin C, no retinol. This is some snail mucin. It's hydrating and smoothing. Next, I'm going to use a vitamin serum that's also hydrating and smoothing. My favorite step is actually this ceramide serum. It's so thick and creamy and it rebuilds your barrier. Up next is The Ordinary's Rosehip. I love this. It just makes my skin feel so luscious and smooth. And after that, I top it off with a thick occlusive moisturizer. The key to slugging is the final layer with Vaseline. It can increase product efficacy by over 400%, which is why you can't use it with retinol or other actives.

Okay, today you guys, I'm reviewing Dr. Jart's Ceramidin. This stuff is called the Skin Saver. It literally helps pump, helps to refine, and get rid of wrinkles, but also super, super hydrating. I love Dr. Jart's products, and I saw this on Flip, and I definitely wanted to give it a try. I haven't opened up the package yet, but I'll keep you guys posted about how it actually reacts and treats my skin. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
