After testing seven tinted mineral sunscreens, I found one I like even more than my favorite tinted chemical sunscreen. It's from the same brand, Dermatology. Obviously zero white cast, even on my darkest moles. On the right side of your screen I'm applying the chemical SPF, and on the left side the mineral. They are practically identical in every way. I love how hydrated they both make my skin feel, not greasy or oily. The mineral one though is water resistant. It is two dollars more, but you do get more product, and it does cost less per application. Also mineral UV filters provide some relief for my redness, which is caused by mild rosacea. So for anyone allergic to chemical sunscreens or just curious whether a mineral one is more agreeable to your skin type, I'd recommend trying this. And I don't say that very often. It comes in first of the seven I've tried, and now it's my number one overall favorite tinted across all categories, period.
