Good morning, I'm in my kitchen. It's way too early for this. I ordered this Halo filter from e.l.f. and I should have checked the reviews. Everything's good though. It's great, but girl. When I got, I got like, what shade is this? Medium? Usually I can do with the medium and the way it looked online, like the picture, looked like a tinge darker than my skin tone because I didn't know what I was getting into. Girl. I will admit, the coverage is good and I do get this tan in the summer, but girl, I'm still getting pale. So I'm probably just gonna mix it with a super pale foundation that I have and keep it pushing, but I'm just so hurt because I wanted to try this and I wanted it to work out for me and I'm sure it will if I get the right shade, but girl, y'all gotta do better with the colors online because this medium did not look this dark on the picture, but I should have went and looked up reviews of people actually reviewing it like I usually do, but I was going out on a whim. What can I say? But it feels good. It's definitely good, but it's just not my shade. So.

It is a multi-purpose glow booster with a sheer tint Which makes the eight available shades really flexible it's infused with skin loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid and Squalane which are all gonna help hydrate and moisturize the skin It also has some finely milled powders. She's gonna give you that smoother soft focused look I mentioned before there are eight flexible shades But what does that mean? It means that each shade is formulated to be worn across multiple skin tones anywhere from fair to rich and everything in between So since it's not a foundation and it's a sheer tint I'm able to wear a shade 4 which is medium or even shade 5 which is a medium tan How do you use it?

Elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter. I really like this product. I am not really used to like glowy makeup look. I usually only use blush, mascara, and concealer. But I saw this and I was like I might as well try it. I did and at first I applied it with my hands and I didn't like it. Then I applied it with my Beauty Blender. I didn't like it either because I felt like it's like just slurped up all the product. So I did it with a brush and after the brush I use a Beauty Blender. I honestly feel like this is the best way to do it because you look shiny and glowy, but you don't look oily. Or you're not wasting your product by it being absorbed by your Beauty Blender. This is in the shade medium tan. My overall rating I'd give it a 7 out of 8. It's really a hit or miss.
