CTZN Cosmetics is a new-age makeup brand founded by three sisters Aleena, Aleezeh and Naseeha Khan. The Khan sisters identify themselves as third-culture kids, with their diverse backgrounds of being born in the U.S., raised in the U.A.E., with Pakistani ethnicity. 

The CTZN story came to fruition when founders Aleena, Aleezeh and Naseeha went shopping for cosmetics at a major beauty retailer and realized that not a single model in mainstream beauty campaigns looked like them, or better yet represented them. Models with 'middle brown' skin tones were hardly ever Southeast Asian or Middle Eastern. Beauty campaigns aside, the same issues were prevalent in beauty brands' product formulations, where certain skin tones and undertones are often not considered

This is Citizen's Lip Liner in the shade Char. C-H-A-A-R. So hopefully I pronounced that correctly. This is what the color looks like. It's beautiful, it's creamy, it's a mechanical retractable pencil. And then on the other end is a sharpener. You can define your lips by lining it and then getting a lipstick that matches closely to this for a more defined lip. Or you can do the dark outline and then a lighter lipstick inside. Whichever works for you. This is a beautiful color. This is what it looks like. And this is pretty long lasting. So, great lip liner.

Happy days, let me put you onto this bomb nude lip from this brand citizen cosmetics So this is their lip stroke in Cinco, honey. It is a beautiful chocolate brown Just look at how that's just gliding to line my lips. So this is an inclusive brand That's gonna help you find your perfect shade of nude, honey It was founded by three sisters who went shopping and they couldn't find anyone in the campaigns that look like them So

Universal Cadbury Matte Lipstick on one side, same shade of gloss on the other side. This is such a beautiful nude, not necessarily my exact nude shade, but to make a light nude, work with your skin complexion, pair it with a darker liner. So this is Lipstroke in Cinco. So I'm gonna line my lips using this shade. So smooth, so creamy. Not to mention, vegan formula. Okay, line your lip with the dark shade. You may look crazy. It's okay. Using the lipstick side first. And look how pretty that is. Now I'm gonna top it off with the gloss. Such a beautiful combo. So if you wanna wear the light nude, just remember a lip liner that's a few shades darker than what you would normally go for.

I'm going to show you guys now the lip liners to go with the Citizen lipstick. So I took off all the lipsticks and I'm now trying to heal with the lip oils. This is the lip liner for Citizen in the shade Cinco. It's a brown color. It's mechanical so you can adjust it that way and then if you want to sharpen it has one at the very end. And this is the color Cinco. This is great for those darker ones or even for the lighter ones if you want to have a darker outline and then like a lighter lip works really well or if you just want to really define your lips with this and a matching lipstick or something close this is a great one. And again this is in the shade Cinco. I'll wear this another time sometime this week or sometime next week and do a look for you but this is what it looks like. Oh look and it doesn't budge either so that's nice. It's long wearing.

I've recently got the citizens cosmetics lip liner and I've been using it a lot. I love it I feel like it's my perfect nude and like just look at how creamy it is You can literally just like filling your lips with this and it's so creamy it glides on I really like this brown They hadn't tried it before I got this, but I really like the lip liner I got the shade do because that's what I was color match to and I really like it. I feel like it's my perfect nude And I just paired it with the citizens cosmetics lipstick in the brown neck and just look this is like literally my perfect nude shade

Citizens lip liner. I don't know how to speak French, but it's D-E-U-X So that's a pretty color. Mechanical retractable lip liner and then on the other end is actually a sharpener. It's great to use on its own actually if you want to just put it all over your lips for its own color If you want to outline your lips in this color and find something very similar. Hmm, I think my lips are missing something. Hmm, that's a little better. As you can see, I have used a lip liner right there to make my lipstick look more clean and make it vibrant and make it pop. Here's a trick on how to make any light nude lip shade work on your skin complexion. So first you're going to take a very dark lip liner. I'm using Lipstroke Cinco and I'm applying it all over my lips just to outline it. Then I go in with Nudeversal Capri. Using the lipstick side first, I apply it all over the lips and then I go back in with Lipstroke Cinco but this time using very light hand pressure just to outline the lips once more for extra definition. And then I take Capri on the gloss side and top off my lips with the gloss. And as you can see the shade now suits my skin complexion without washing me out. And the trick is a very dark lip liner and you can use any nude lip shade of your choice. you

The Citizen lip liner and this is in the color San or San. This is what it looks like. I will demo this another time to go with the matching lipsticks of theirs. It's a mechanical retractable pencil and at the very end on the other side is a sharpener. This is what it looks like.
