CTZN Cosmetics is a new-age makeup brand founded by three sisters Aleena, Aleezeh and Naseeha Khan. The Khan sisters identify themselves as third-culture kids, with their diverse backgrounds of being born in the U.S., raised in the U.A.E., with Pakistani ethnicity. 

The CTZN story came to fruition when founders Aleena, Aleezeh and Naseeha went shopping for cosmetics at a major beauty retailer and realized that not a single model in mainstream beauty campaigns looked like them, or better yet represented them. Models with 'middle brown' skin tones were hardly ever Southeast Asian or Middle Eastern. Beauty campaigns aside, the same issues were prevalent in beauty brands' product formulations, where certain skin tones and undertones are often not considered

So I just finished my makeup we are going to try out the CTZ in cosmetics. This is a universal lip duo Lipstick and lip gloss mouthful and a half literally so cute I love this because I have like my lip gloss my lip plumper my lip liner and my lipstick all on my purse So I love that. This is a two-in-one. So just on my lips. You can see it is very very nude. Try this out Okay This is amazing, I wasn't expecting to like it this much. Okay, let's put the gloss over it Are you kidding two hours since I first applied it and here is the color It is literally perfect and it has an amazing wear Go get this

Had to grab a couple more of these lip do's because I am obsessed the shade I'm using today I have no idea how to pronounce I'm not even gonna try the lipstick is matte, but it is not drying It's very very comfortable on the lips the gloss is nice and buttery. It's not sticky Both are so great alone, but even better together. I used to mix lip liner because I just prefer how it looks better But you guys the formula of these are perfect, and it is so nice to just be able to throw one product in your bag

Okay, I'm absolutely convinced I found the most beautiful nude lip pair. This combo is amazing I'm using Elf's Love Triangle lip liner in shade light brown. It is my absolute favorite lip liner It makes your lips look so much fuller and it's honestly just like stunning and then I'm going with my favorite Citizen Cosmetics New Diversal lip duo. This is the shade Dubravnik. It's the most gorgeous Peachy to neutral nude I've ever seen it's semi matte So it's not too heavy and then I go in with the gloss that it comes with and I'm just obsessed with this Look you guys If you want a twin you can get the Elf Cosmetics liner on flip for four US dollars Then you can get the Citizen Cosmetics lip duo on flip for a limited time as a freebie or 29 US dollars

So this is the Citizen Matte Lipstick. It's a dual lipstick because it has a matte lipstick on one side and then the matching gloss on the other. The matte lipstick is very very comfortable. It's not drying. It's very light. Same also for the lip gloss. The lip gloss is also light. It's not sticky. This is what it looks like. This is the nude. They have like different nude colors. And I couldn't decide so I got a lot of them. My lips are going to fall off by the time I finish all of this but... This is what the matte looks like. This is Mexico City by the way. And with the gloss. That's what it looks like. It's very hydrating. You wouldn't even think that this is matte. So it kind of looks like a nice raisin color. Definitely recommend. I love this.

What's up mother flippers? Today I'm trying out the new Diversal Lip Duo by Citizens Cosmetic in the shade Milano. I love this concept. I love that there's a lipstick on one side and a gloss on the other side. I feel like with glosses coming back, more companies should actually take on this type of product. So this is what the shade looks like in the lipstick. Cute, cute, work. And here is the gloss. I was a little nervous at how dark it looked, but after I applied it I really, really love the color. Now the only thing I don't love about this product is how long it wears. I feel like it really only wears for maybe an hour or two, so I will ding some points and give it an 8 out of 10 for that, but otherwise I love it.

Okay, we're gonna be trying a whole bunch of these. I got carried away, and this is the Citizen Dual Lipstick. So it's a matte lipstick on one side, and then a lip gloss on the other. So that's what the matte lipstick looks like. Matches the lip color. That's what the matte looks like. And then with the gloss. The matte lipstick is very comfortable. It's not drying. It's comfortable, hydrating, very, very light. Just a gloss. The gloss is also very lightweight, and it's not sticky. Also comfortable. So I just love this. So I have a few more, quite a bit. So just wanted to show you guys what this looks like. And that's the swatch.

Okay, I just found the perfect nude lipstick. So this is Citizen Cosmetics Nudeversal Lip Duo It's double-ended so one side is a lipstick and the other side is a lip gloss I'm using the shade Mykonos and it is the perfect nude color. So just apply your lipstick like normal. It is so creamy I was not expecting that. It's so good Once you're done you just place the cap back on and then untwist the lip gloss and the lip gloss is so hydrating and so glossy And it complements the lipstick color so well. It is literally the perfect combo. I'm obsessed I was honestly not a lipstick girly before this, but I'm definitely one now and I'll be wearing this every single day this summer

Citizen Duo lipstick. It has a matte lipstick on one side and a lip gloss on the other They're both very lightweight and comfortable. The matte lipstick is non-drying and the lip gloss is not sticky. This is in the color Mykonos And this is the Lipstick their lipsticks are super comfortable. Trust me because I have tried so many already and My lips are not to the point yet of falling off. So this is the Citizen Nudiversal Lip Duo Lipstick in Lip Gloss and the color is Mykonos. This was like instant. I mean, I love the color and the feeling. It feels so fantastic. Okay, I see they have other colors. I may be back.

Hi Beauties! Let's get into this new try and haul from Citizen Cosmetics. First things first, let's start off with their Lip Stroke in Cinco. Y'all already know we need a beautiful brown chocolate liner for the lips. So this is one of my perfect nudes. This is New York City. So this is what it looks like matte. And y'all already know we need to throw a gloss on top of this lip. A lippy is not complete without a gloss. Look at how beautiful and hydrating my lips look. So we're just going to add a little bit more of that liner. And now we're going with my next perfect nude, Mykonos. So these lippies are infused with Wild Mango Butter, which moisturizes and protects the lips. So now we're going to add this gloss. And the glosses are hydrating. And it's a translucent lip gloss that still gives off that beautiful shine. Next, we're adding a little bit more of that liner. And we're going in with Capri. Now trust the process. I know it looks bright. But look how gorgeous it looks with that liner. And wait till I add this gloss. Absolutely gorgeous. 25 Nudes. Take your quiz to find your perfect shade.

This is the Citizen Lipstick Duo. It has a matte lipstick on one side and a lip gloss on the other side. This is the color New York City. It's pretty. Ugh. Can't wait to put it on. So both are very comfortable. Both are very lightweight. It's not heavy. The matte is not very drying at all. Hydrating. The lip gloss is super lightweight as if like it's not even there. It's not sticky. Oh pretty. I like that. Okay, on to the lip gloss. This is great for travel by the way because you can have two different looks with your lips and it's very easy to just throw into your bag. New York City. I like this. Totally recommend. Love.

Citizens Duo lipstick and this is in the shade Rome. So one is a matte lipstick on the other side is a matching lipgloss So they're both very comfortable. Both are very lightweight. The matte lipstick is Easily glides on it's not drying and the lipgloss is very comfortable. It's lightweight and it's not sticky So this is the shade Rome I Love this color Or shiny finish I Really? Love this line. It's super comfortable. I really enjoy putting these on. I mean, I don't know how many I've put already, but It's um, it's just comfortable. Trust me. I've tried so many of these. It's very comfortable. So I totally recommend

Brown lipstick. I love it. So today we're gonna be trying a brown lipstick by citizen cosmetics. It's actually a lip duo It's both a matte lipstick and lip gloss There's a little box for you to look at and here's the actual lipstick slash lip gloss I'm gonna start with this and then I'm gonna put some of the gloss over it and see how it goes Oh cute. She is. Okay, let's do it Oh This is like my dream shade, let's add the lip gloss and see how it looks here She is give her a moment to shine Okay, let's put it on. Okay, I'm down to my last one, I think. This is the Citizen Duo Lipstick Lip Gloss Combo. It has, they're both very comfortable, both are very lightweight. Matte lipstick is non-drying, it's super comfy. And the gloss is not sticky at all, and it's just comfortable to wear all day. This is the color Sarajevo. I don't know if this is too dark for me. Ooh, I kinda like it. I don't normally wear this dark of a color, but. By the way, you can also layer this with a different lipstick, so if you wanna have the dual, the two colors, that works really well too. Just glides on very easily. Pretty, I like it. Anyway, I recommend the whole line. I love it, this is pretty, I recommend highly. Thumbs up for me.

But I wanted to try out this lipstick and gloss on really quick. So this is what it looks like straight out of the packaging. You open this side and it's a lipstick and then you can go ahead and untwist this side and it is a lipstick. I don't know. So I'm going to go ahead and try to line the outside of my lips real quick and I'll be right back once I'm done. Alright so I just finished using the tip of this. I really like it. I think it's super pretty. I will try out the gloss a little bit later but I'm sure that'll be just as pretty. And yeah, it's really pretty. I didn't put anything on the inner part of my lips. It's literally all this color and I blended it out a little bit by tapping it. But yeah, it's super pretty and I really like it. I'm going to make a p-mouth.

So today we're trying the Citizen Nudiversal Lip Duo in Singapore. Now what you've got to love is on one side you get the lipstick. That is so pretty. And then on the other side you get a coordinating gloss. And you can definitely go like this without the gloss, but... That is perfection. And last time I checked, Flip had these on sale. So if you can grab them, I would grab them in several colors. I think this is like my fourth or fifth one.

Myah recently tried out the Nudiversal Lip Duo in the Dubrovnik color by CTZN Cosmetics and had some great things to say about it. She loved the fact that it's a two-in-one product, combining a lipstick and lip gloss in a convenient package. Myah mentioned that she usually carries around multiple lip products in her purse, so having everything in one tube was a big plus for her. She applied the lipstick and found it to be a very nude shade, which she liked. But what really impressed her was the gloss. She applied it over the lipstick and was amazed at how long-lasting it was. Even after two hours, the color was still perfect and the wear was amazing. Overall, Myah highly recommends the Nudiversal Lip Duo for its convenience and long-lasting formula.
