i've really been wanting to get back into co-washing so when i saw this kristin s cleansing conditioner pop up i took it as a sign it was time to start trying again this is like seven or eight day hair at this point my scalp is getting dry and flaky i've got a lot of build-up going on my hair is dry because it's half bleached and i just need a refresh so when you're co-washing you're going to split your hair into four sections massage into that area focus on your scalp really focusing on massaging your scalp with the product in it for about a minute this is out of the shower and basically what this cleansing conditioner did was got all of that gunk that dead skin that build up out of my hair that was weighing it down but it doesn't rinse out those good oils that we need and want in our hair i let it air dry after a cleansing condition this is the next morning with no heat treatment no nothing i just put it up in a clip and i am so happy

really dry hair, really dry scalp, really sensitive scalp. Obviously I color treat half of my hair is bleached and it's in decent condition, like way better condition than it can be, but again this also helps prevent future damage because Kristin Estef still has that zip up technology. I use a lot of product in my hair, I use a lot of dry shampoo, I use a lot of oils, but I don't like washing my hair. Actual shampoo, scrub that whole nine every two weeks. This I like to do in the in-between at that seven, eight day mark where my buildup is getting kind of crazy, but I don't want to wash my hair, but I can't do anything with my hair at that point, but put it into a bun, saves the day because I can get my hair wet, give it a really gentle cleanse, and then be free to just restyle. You have considered giving co-washing a try, but weren't sure if it was right for you. I think that this is an awesome product to try out.

Some people will just use straight up conditioner as their cleanser, and that works. Cleansing conditioners are a step above that. Think of this as shampoo light, diet shampoo. I should talk a little bit more about co-washing and cleansing conditioners and all that jazz. This is usually a method that is used by curly girls, natural hair girl. But if you are really dry, really fragile hair, maybe really chemically treated, cleansing conditioner could be something that really helps your hair. This is just a really, really low sudsing, low cleanse. When I use this, I only use this. So I am massaging it into my scalp in easy to manage parts, really working it in, getting the gunk out, and then just rinse this out of my hair.

All right, I absolutely love this shampoo It lathers really well without getting like massive bubbles and I can move it around my head really easily it smells amazing my hair did great afterwards and Yeah, that's all I'm gonna say. Oh and the smell it was like subtle but nice. It wasn't intense like like or Bay or Some cheap shampoos I've had in the past it was just I don't know it was like fancy and nice I liked it

Usually I don't wash this early. I'm at about day 10 now with my hair, but I'm on a trip I'm just feeling like I desperately need a clean. The weather's been crazy. I'm just Dying so I got a duo of an old absolute favorite of mine the Kristen S the one Shampoo and conditioner. I absolutely love this stuff because there is no junk in it. It's sulfate free It doesn't like tear my hair up It cleanses really well But it doesn't strip my hair of all moisture and in times like this where I'm not super prepared And I don't have lots of product. It is so great to have on hand

Okay, first up today Kristen S signature shampoo This was actually a free item that I chose after purchasing several other items. I've really fallen in love with this brand I found it first for a leave-in conditioner, which I will review later For my hair, which has gotten quite a bit curlier in the last couple years and I've had to freestyle it Anyway, I really love this new shampoo. It says it's for all hair types I have relatively average hair, but it's curly kind of waving. It's a little oily on top and the bangs So this was a really nice clean wash and I enjoy it and it's a good The free one is a nice travel size that I think I can take with me on my vacation this summer So I definitely recommend it. I'm gonna keep using it and I'll let you know if I have any more thoughts. Thanks
