Take my money, LaMelle. Take it all. A while back, my friend Dina here on Flip asked me to do a full face of makeup with the cheapest makeup that I could find. And at the time, Jason Wu was the cheapest eye primer, and that was at $12.99. Huh. LaMelle beat him. I've liked every other product that I've gotten from LaMelle so far. Let's just do a quick swatch test on my arm to see how- This is obviously a first impression too, because I didn't really- Look at the applicator tip! I thought it was just a squeeze tube. That was only one dip, and that went quite a lot. This is gonna last me forever. We're gonna pick a fun color from my Not So Nude Nude Huda Beauty palette. Let's pick this bright, bright purple. We're gonna go in on top of the primer first. Ooh! She is nice and pigmented. Okay. Let's just finish it up. Brush it on there. Now let's see how it looks without eyeshadow primer. Let's pat it on the same way that we did before, but, um... She ain't showing up as good. I have never heard of LaMelle, but they are killing it.

I'm in love with the Lamel Long-Lasting Eyeshadow Base. This is an eye primer and it is amazing. Most eye primers for me dry my skin out so bad, but this doesn't. It goes on so easy. It has a nice neutral base color and just wait to see how well it allows the product to go on and it will literally have your eyeshadow last all day long. It just really honestly makes everything go on so nice, blends so easy, it makes the colors pop more. This is a typically very light eyeshadow palette and it makes that color actually show up, which I love. The other thing I love is it will not crease at all all day long. So if you're looking for a really, really good eyeshadow base, get this.

This eye gloss claims to be able to really go on anything while keeping the texture of whatever shadow that you have on and making it last longer and stay smudge proof. And smudge proof is not something that I associate with an eye gloss. So we're really putting this um, this eye look up to risk today. Um, but doing it for the test. So this is a totally clear eye gloss that you can use all over your face. I decided that I was going to put it on the back of my hand before applying to my eyes. Just applying with the finger seemed like the best way for me to not mess up what was going on underneath. Cause I have a different base of creams and powders. I wanted to see how everything sits. I was scared of this product. I'm not experienced with eye glosses. But I have to say I was really excited when it didn't immediately ruin everything. It didn't pull up my base. And it looks really nice. I'm excited to see how this wears and give updates.
