So I just got this Dutch oven, so I'm gonna make some bread. Cup and a half of water. We need a packet of this yeast in there. We need a tablespoon of salt. Now I'm supposed to combine this until everything dissolves. Now I'm adding in three and a fourth cups of flour. This is a lot of flour. I'll come back when this is mixed up. So I added more water and I switched utensils. Now we're looking like we got some bread. Just gotta throw a kitchen towel over this and let it rise for a couple hours. We got the oven at 450. We're gonna throw our Dutch oven in there with nothing in it just to heat it up before we put the bread in. So our dough has risen and ready to be baked. So I'm throwing down some flour on this sheet and really just plopping the dough down in there. The goal of this part is really just to shape it into that loaf form. And it's supposed to look like this. So Dutch oven is preheated, so we're gonna just toss our bread in there, plop it in there like this. And then I trimmed some of the excess paper and then I scored the middle. Now we're putting it in the oven at 450 for 30 minutes. Then we're gonna take the lid off and let it sit in there for 15 more minutes. The outside's gonna get really crispy and it came out perfect. I'm honestly really surprised. I thought baking bread was pretty hard, but it's actually really easy.
