As a father of young children, Frédéric felt pulled toward action. So, he changed his lifestyle to reduce the amount of plastic in his family’s homes and lives and he set his sights on a cleaner, more innovative future for the hair care industry. With FEKKAI, he brings his sustainable way of life to the lives of his customers and the beauty industry, with a line that combines salon-level performance and clean, natural ingredients.

Our salon-grade, EWG-compliant formulas are clean, vegan, silicone-free & cruelty free—featuring naturally-derived, high-performance ingredients that are sourced sustainably in consideration of the local environment and our planet's needs. They are made in close collaboration with our in-house chemist and Frédéric, undergoing extensive salon testing with our stylists to ensure that each one meets the highest standards of performance.

We’ve made a bold commitment to reduce plastic waste and save the planet, purchasing 64 million grams of post-consumer plastic in our first year (and we're just getting started). This is how we’re crafting our packaging from 95% recycled plastic. Even the boxes you receive with a new FEKKAI order are 100% recyclable, including the packing material inside.
