As you just saw, those little bubbles in the bottle are actually microcapsules and they absorb directly into your skin. It's just by itself without a roller and I definitely don't recommend that. The roller helps absorb into your skin as opposed to just laying on top of it. I then just follow up with my favorite moisturizer and my skin feels so soft and is glowing. I love this stuff.
