This is especially important for her breed and other large breed dogs because their stomach sits up higher, so elevating their food makes it easier for them to eat and have good digestion and promotes a healthy gut. So, so far I love it. It's way healthier for her than having it on the floor or on like a lower mat or anything. So far she loves it. It's a perfect height for her and she has no problem accessing her food or water and she just is obsessed with it and so am I.
