This primer claims to give you glowing, smooth-looking skin while giving you a shot of hydration. I'm applying it to one half of my face so we can see the difference with and without the primer. It's infused with watermelon and apple extract for hydration. Final thoughts on the Honest Beauty Everything Primer Glow in 2HA. Definitely gives you a little bit of a glow going on, and I do feel like I got a little bit more coverage or a better application on the side of the face that I applied the primer. But as far as blurring the skin or making it look smooth, I don't think that it does anything to really help with texture. And putting dewy products or glowy products on your skin actually usually accentuate the texture in your skin more than a mattifying product would. So I will say it does give you a glow. It does make your products apply more pigmented or more full coverage. But I don't think it does anything to smooth the skin.

This is the hand without a primer and you can definitely see the difference. Holy cow, look at how dry this hand is. I am now also going to try it on my face. And if you are curious, it does work well with cream and liquid foundations.

So I wanted to talk a little more about the Everything Primer Matte from Honest. I love this primer because it doesn't feel like just any average primer. As a licensed esthetician, this really made my skin feel hydrated. And as you can see, it's super easy to just absorb into the skin. And then when you apply your foundation on top of it, there is no issue whatsoever to blend out that foundation. Really keeps you balanced. I don't want anything that's going to dry out my skin or not allow my natural oils to do its job. And I feel like this one was just perfect. Like it just balanced me out. And as you can see, it's just absorbed into my skin beautifully. There's no white residue. It feels like a moisturizer, like a lightweight moisturizer. And I love that. But yeah, this is what it looks like. I would highly recommend for you to try. There is no issues with combining your foundation in this primer.

It's also supposed to help blur pores and lines. I was about to go to bed and removed my lashes, but thought I'd show you how my skin looked at night without touching up all day.

Okay, I just got the Honest Beauty Matte About You, so everything primer and matte, and we're gonna test it out. So this is great for normal type skin, but it is also great for if you are a little bit oily because it kind of removes that shine and then blurs imperfections. I use it before I do foundation or sometimes I just use it plain, like if I'm getting ready and I kind of just want to look a little bit more smooth. So I'm just going to put a little bit on my fingers and apply it that way, and obviously since this is just kind of a primer, it doesn't really have color. You can actually kind of see it smoothing though, but I love the feel of it because it's really lightweight and we all know vegan and cruelty free with Honest Beauty. I just really like the way it kind of gives me a smooth canvas.
