Alrighty guys, I'm gonna be trying out the Creme Eyeshadow Crayon from Jouer in the color Abstract. I'm gonna take a different approach to this. I'm gonna kind of use it as a eyeliner. I love a good smoky winged eyeliner and I love using crayons like this for it, so I'm gonna give this one a try. It's super buttery and super smooth, so I figured it would be perfect to use and buff out with a brush. So here I am buffing it out and honestly the way that this was turning out I was so excited because I started off light and then it's super buildable. As you can see as I get farther in it gets a little darker more intense and it's the perfect product to layer and go as intense as you want. I'm obsessed.

I had really high hopes for this eyeshadow crayon, but when I opened it, I was just not expecting it to be shimmery. The swatch was super nice, it seemed really creamy, but I didn't really like how it went on my eye. I was going for just a smoky eye, I guess, and it just really didn't want to blend out, so I didn't really like how the final product came. In an attempt to not let this product go to waste, I tried it on my waterline, and that is probably how I'm going to be using this product, because it turns out nice.

I'm gonna use this cream eyeshadow by Jouer. It's like grayish black. I put the brush right on top of my lashes and then take a little stroke. I don't want it to be too close to my inner corner. For my upper lashes I'm gonna use Superfan mascara by Smashbox. I brush my lashes a little bit diagonal. Mascara by Surratte for lower lashes. With this kind of eye look you can have any lipstick. Like nude or red or bold dark brown.

So I'm getting ready to go on a date night and I want to keep it simple yet glam. I decided to give this Jouer cream eye shadow crayon a shot and this is shade abstract. Sharpener on the end, perfect. It's a very nice matte black with a little bit of purple undertone in different light and it's right on the eyes. As you can see, it blended into a very smokey eye shadow look and I love, love, love it. Beautiful shade, beautiful formula, very easy to blend. Use your finger, use your brush. Just put this on, smudge it out, blend it out.

All right, so I tried another Jouer eyeshadow palette. This is the rose gold matte and shimmer shade palette It's really pretty great color story has some really dark shades on it that I thought would perform really well but I Had issues with this too. In fact, this look took me three times three different eyeshadow bases and Honestly, the eyeshadow base doesn't even help this eyeshadow like do anything It doesn't perform well on naked skin. It doesn't perform well over a base In fact, the pink shades in this were supposed to be quite a bit darker but every time I tried to blend out the top it took off like most of the pigment and The fallout was ridiculous about the only thing good about these palettes are the shimmer shades to be honest And if you try to pack another layer on on top to make it darker, you're just gonna wipe off the first layer I'm really heartbroken about this, but it's just not worth it

Let's talk about the Jouar Springtime in Paris Matte and Shimmer shade palette. Yes, I am wearing it right now and it does look pretty, but I had a lot of issues with this eyeshadow. Number one, it did not go over the P. Louise eyeshadow base for some reason, and every eyeshadow I have usually does. I had to start all over and go back in with this concealer by RMS Beauty, which worked a little bit better. Now, you can pack on the pigment with this all day long and it's really great, but once you start blending, like kiss at least 50% of that color goodbye. You have to use a very light hand when applying, blending, anything, layering, while using this eyeshadow. And while I don't think it's a horrible, horrible formula, it's definitely not worth what they're charging. This is a $40 palette. For that kind of money, I better not have that kind of issue.

I don't know what is up with the formula in these eyeshadow palettes, but I'm gonna show you what's going on This one is the springtime in Paris and we are going to work with this navy blue right here I have prepped my arm with some concealer just to like get a good clean base going and let's get started packing on pigment I know I'm in a weird angle, but pigment all on it looks promising. It looks saturated. It looks wonderful Let's blend it out as you can see there are already some issues, and it just doesn't blend out very well now Let's add on some more pigment. See if we can fix that fade out So I tried to blend out that harsh edge a little bit more which it did work kind of but you can still see the Lines and you can still see in the body of the darkest part that it's patchy for 40 bucks each these palettes are just not Worth it unless you want to spend that much for just the shimmer shades. You're just wasting your money

This is the Jouer Springtime in Paris Matte and Shimmer Makeup Palette. I think these colors are perfect for every season. You have a good mix of natural, basic colors, and then some like brighter purples and blues, which I usually pull in winter. This is my first time using the palette, and I just wanted to pull some neutral, natural colors out. Just for a basic look, I'm going to work later, so I don't want anything too crazy, you know. I think the shades are a little hard to blend out. I usually apply eyeshadow with one brush, and then I go in with a more blendable brush. I'm like trained artistically, so that's usually what I would do if I'm painting. I know that most people who do makeup don't do that. But this is like the finished look. I think they look really pretty.

Using this palette from Jaur Beauty Overall I'm not impressed with the powders and there's lots of fallout It's $42 and I would definitely not pick this up if I were you lol
