Hey guys, so I'm about to hit the pool for Labor Day weekend and I'm gonna try this Kate Somerville mineral sunscreen. I got an entire like 8-12 products from Kate Somerville in this flip-flop box and I did not know she made sunscreen so I'm super excited. It just, I mean it looks like regular sunscreen but the consistency is really like light. Contrary to what this looks like, it rubs in really well and so you're supposed to apply it 15 minutes before sun exposure and then every two hours there and after. I am gonna layer my makeup over this. I'm probably not gonna reapply but 40 SPF should be good for at least a couple hours in the sun so I'll let you know if I get burned but a really big fan of all of her products and the sunscreen feels so good on. Following up on yesterday's video, I was in the sun for about six hours. I was wearing a hat but no sunburns!

So, as you can see, it is very whitening, but it is not a cream, it's just made to protect your skin. I try to reapply it every two hours, but the main thing is I love this product.

This is the K Summerville's Daily Reflector Mineral Sunscreen with a SPF of 40 which is amazing. It is made with 17% zinc oxide and how I apply it is usually with two fingers. That is usually good enough for my entire face. And you know it's lightweight, it's creamy, it has a nice finish because this, after applying the product, this is how my face looks. It doesn't feel oily at all or greasy and it's just, it provides no or little white cast and my face looks brighter. And another way that I would use this sunscreen is for my under eyes if I want to just have my under eyes be a little brighter and yeah this is an amazing choice and if you like it please let me know.

Now, this is a mineral sunscreen which I personally love more than chemical ones because saying that it's a mineral one means that it is a physical barrier so it's not going to seep into the skin and it's just going to stay on it. So the consistency is kind of like a lotion. It is a little bit more watery. It doesn't feel too thick or anything like that. So let's try it on the skin and hopefully it doesn't give too much of a white cast. So based on first use, I do see a little bit of a white cast which is the main issue with physical sunscreens. It does have like a scent to it. It's not really like a good scent but it's also like not bothersome and once you kind of put it on, it does dissipate.
