This is the best lip balm I've ever tried and it just so happens to be the cheapest. It's the perfect consistency. It's glossy but not too sticky. Even if you just leave it on for five minutes, it moisturizes your lips so much. If you're gonna buy one lip balm, I highly suggest this one.

The elf thought that they were gonna be slick with this one, but I caught them lacking. Okay, so this elf holy hydration lip mask is $7 for 4.4 grams. I have the Laneige sleeping mask and it is $24 for 20 grams. When you divide it all out, the elf holy hydration lip mask is literally more expensive for the amount of product than the Laneige sleep mask. I'm almost out of my Laneige and I'm gonna try it on half of my lips and then the elf on the other side. I don't know, elf. Low-key shady for this, in my opinion. Like, woo-hoo, came out with a dupe. We love dupes. But we don't love dupes that are more expensive. Okay, they literally feel identical on the lips. So this is a dupe, but it's a more expensive dupe, so I don't like that.

In the category of price, the e.l.f. Holy Hydration Lip Mask definitely wins. It's only $7, which is nearly a quarter of the price of its competitor. Its texture is a super thick slippery jelly and it has enough grip on the lips to last through the night as a sleeping mask and, in my opinion, delivers equally on conditioning and hydrating the lips. It is noticeably smaller, more than half the size, and it has to be used within six months of opening versus 12, which shouldn't be an issue. Even though the product appears to be blue in the jar, once it's applied to the lips, it goes on super clear and has a high shine. The fresh berry scent is very similar, both very unnoticeable, but the e.l.f. Holy Hydration wins big, again, because it's vegan and cruelty-free.

I'm going to be doing a review about these lip masks. I've been using these for a little while and I did one on my lips last night and my lips literally have never felt softer. So, and like, I already think they're a great product and I love the packaging. It has like little droplets on the lips. So cute, so phenomenal. So when you first open it, there's a little spatula that comes with it. And the little, it's just like this spatula. But my, this is the only complaint. This thing is impossible to get out. It gets stuck really easy. So let me take it out real quick. Don't judge me, I use my teeth to get it out. That's like the only way for me to get it out.

It may seem a little crazy, pretty baby, but I promise mama's gonna be alright. Now hush little baby, don't you cry, everything's gonna be alright.
