You have to wash your hair and then you spray it on top of your wet or lightly damp hair. If you have very blonde hair, you probably are gonna get beautiful pink shade. I got just a little bit of pink undertone on my highlights. I'm not fully blonde, I have just highlights. And compared to Depositive Mask by Moroccan Oil, which I love better, it doesn't give you shine. So this thing doesn't give you shine and your hair might look even more dry, but Moroccan Oil Depositive Mask will give you nourishing effect and your hair will be shiny and it gave me more color than this spray.
