So apparently the key to voluminous and long-lasting curls is mousse. So let's try it. So just shaking it up well, then doing two pumps of mousse and putting it all through the hair. Since it has sea salt in it, it's going to not feel as smooth as it originally did, but that is what's going to help the hair hold the curl better because there's a little bit more grit in there. When you feel that the mousse is dry, go ahead and put some curls in your hair. The best way to get the most volume out of your curls is to curl away from your face and also towards your face. This gives your hair a lot of volume because the curls aren't facing the same way. They're facing different directions, so it creates a lot of volume. So here are the curls finished, and I feel like it just looks so nice and voluminous. I also noticed that my hair was able to curl a lot easier and hold a curl better. Sometimes I have to go through and re-curl, but absolute yes.

I ordered this with one intention and that was to see if it would give my hair volume and look at it. My hair is typically so flat I literally have no volume in my hair at all and this worked so well. I literally just did it but I'm gonna explain it to you really quick. Put a couple pumps of this in your roots like right here. I did like four pumps of it maybe and then blow dry it and oh my goodness. I'm actually currently in shock because my hair never has this much volume. Let me know if you try this out in the comments. I would love to hear how it works for you.

All right, we're gonna do my hair. I'm gonna add some curls and then I'm gonna show you one of my favorite hair products the Kristen S Beach Wave Spray Okay, so I'm gonna brush out with like a wide Loose comb to start with and then I'm gonna come in with the Beach Wave Spray and just kind of Slightly spray it from the middle to the ends and I'm gonna come in with my fingers and just Kind of pick it apart a little bit to give it that really pretty Separated beach look. I absolutely love this I've been using this probably for a few years now and the price is great. It is comparable to some They're close to $40 and I think this is 15. So this is one of my favorite things

I use this beach wave spray from Kristen Ess to give my hair some soft texture and shine that I feel like it's missing when I let it air dry. We're going for an intentionally styled messy look, not she's a mess messy look. It helps define the waves and make my ends piecey and less fluffy. It locks in moisture but it feels weightless and it adds volume while keeping the beachy waves looking windswept. There's instantly less frizz and there's no crispy or sticky wet texture. It does a great job from keeping the waves from falling flat. This is a great option for anyone like me trying to give their hair a break from heat styling. It's not just for people with naturally wavy hair either. I've seen it work beautifully with slept on braided hair as well.

This is the method that I find works best for heatless beachy waves. I braid my hair at the top of my crown when it's 90% dry after washing and then sleep on it. I leave the braid slightly baggy near my scalp and in the morning I gently unravel the braid, give it a shake, and it always looks something like this. I like to add a claw clip to my part just to give a little bit of volume there while I'm using the Kristen S Beach Wave Spray to give my hair some separation and soft shine. It's important to use a product like this to make sure that the waves don't fall flat, but unlike a salt spray or a hairspray or a mousse, it doesn't leave things feeling crunchy, dry, or sticky which is essential to rocking volumous waves for multiple days.

and my hair is looking a little dull and a little frizzy. So I like to use the Kristen Ess Blow Dry Mist. This helps keep it from tangling, like in the wind and things like that, which if you don't know, tangling your hair is a huge cause of damage. So when your hair gets tangled throughout the day, and then at the end of the day, when you brush it and you hear that ripping sound, that's bad, right? That's all your hair just breaking. I like to concentrate a little extra on my ends to make such a difference. You can already see my hair is so much shinier. I have used it with like a blowout and it does somehow cut down your drying time. I don't know how it does it. It makes your hair dry much faster. My hair has a lot more shine and it's much, much smoother. There's a lot less frizz already. If you do have fine hair, this is super, super lightweight and the mist is super fine. So you can cover a big area at once and it doesn't weigh the hair down. As you can see, I still have a little lift in my root. Love, love, love this stuff. It's easily a part of my everyday routine to keep my hair healthy and make me look.

To use the mousse, Brooklyn suggests shaking it well and applying two pumps throughout the hair. Once the mousse is dry, she recommends curling the hair away from and towards the face to create volume. By curling in different directions, the hair appears fuller and more voluminous.
