Hey guys, so I'm going to be using the KVD Lock It foundation. I'm going to use it on half my face to see how the shade matches. I put two pumps on my sponge because this is a pretty full coverage foundation. Okay, for shade match, I don't match my actual skin tone, but I feel like it's not far off from my neck for some reason. So I feel like I could get away with this if I just rotten up my skin some and then we'll be good. This part is concerning me how it's kind of breaking up around my eye area, but it's just a full coverage foundation, so we're going to have to work harder to try that. I do look super cast free though, so keep in mind that KVD foundations are a lot lighter than your normal foundation when you get your shade or choose your shade. So I'd probably go a shade darker, especially if it's the summertime like it is right now, or you'll be a little cast.

What's up, Flip? I'm reviewing the Kate Von D Lock It Foundation. It has very full coverage, extreme long wear, transfer resistant. I've heard amazing things about this. Now, I've been really good so far about buying the right color of foundation here on Flip. This one, I was unaware and definitely bought the wrong color. We'll get to that in a second. But the packaging's stunning. You've got this cool little piece that pops on to block it from spilling in travel. You push down. Super easy to use. Again, it feels very luxurious and great. Now, I bought this way too light and I did look it up and found out that her shade range does run light. It's skewed light. So, please be aware of that when shopping your shades. But the finish and consistency is amazing. I wish it was the right color because I would be so excited to try this out. My first impressions are it's a great product, just unfortunately not my correct shade.

This KVD Lock It foundation has excellent coverage. However, if you're over 30 or your skin is dry or starting to mature, you know it's hard to find a foundation that looks good on your skin and doesn't settle into lines and accentuate fine lines, wrinkles, and dry spots. So I'm going to show you how to use this foundation to make it work for you. So with any high coverage foundation, if you have mature skin, you're going to want to use a serum underneath. Skin prep is super important. Another tip is you want to make sure you don't use a shade that is too light for your skin. With any foundation, you want to start with a light layer. So I only used one pump for my first layer. This foundation is buildable. For a foundation like this one, if you have mature skin, I highly suggest using cream, contour, and cream products on top of the makeup instead of powder. What I really like about this foundation is that it gives your cream products something to grip to so they actually are going to last longer. This is the finished look. So if you like a full coverage foundation and you have mature skin, you can definitely make this work. If you need full coverage for a special occasion, a wedding, or you're getting pictures taken.

Oh my god KVD you did it! This is the famous KVD Lockhead foundation. It's full coverage, stream long wear and transfer resistant and also it's a vegan brand. This foundation feels so good on the skin and it's perfect for a glam night makeup. This is one of the best full coverage foundation I have ever tried. This one is in the shade medium 52 warm and if you love makeup like me you need this foundation.

So I'll be trying out the KVD Beauty Lock-It foundation. This is a matte, full coverage, extra long wear foundation. Now, typically I do not like matte foundations because I do have fine lines and they tend to emphasize that and who likes that, you know? But I am going to apply it to show you how beautiful this full coverage is. Look how immediately, holy cow. It is a little bit too dark for me, but I'm hoping to get a little bit tanner because it's summertime. So this is what it looks like with the rest of my makeup on. I think it looks beautiful. This time I applied a lot less foundation and it is not emphasizing my fine lines like it did the first time. So I really like it and I would definitely recommend it based on first impressions.

This is the Lock It foundation from Kat Von D. I got the medium warm 53 shade. Here's the bottle comes in, it's a lovely looking. Unfortunately for me this color was far far too warm to olive and I'm gonna have to try a new shade but the foundation is great.

I want a product with full coverage, so I'm trying out this Kat Von D Lock It Foundation. This is in the shade 57 Medium Warm Undertone. It was a little yellow when I put it on, but as you can see, it blended very nicely. A little went a long way with this product, so I only needed a pea-sized amount. The matte finish at the end was amazing, and it actually did stay on all day. This is what I look like after I put on the rest of my makeup. I definitely approve.

This foundation is the best. It's Kat Von D's Liquid Lock It. It's vegan and it brags that it only needs one drop for all-day wear. I find that I usually use two drops, maybe three, but it gives you true matte coverage all over your face. It's transfer resistant and it also covers tattoos. You can wear it straight or matte or you can bounce a makeup sponge over it and wear it as dewy. My only gripe is this little tiny piece that goes over the spout. I might lose it. Set it with a setting powder or a setting mist and you're good to go. It gives you a flawless finish and comes in all skin tones. For best results, prep it with a primer first. I love the product and it's great for oily skin. Kat Von D Liquid Lock It.

Are they still calling this a tattoo foundation or am I a dinosaur? When this came out I like couldn't even afford to breathe the air at Sephora But here we are now and I have a tattoo. So let's oh it has this like protective seal on it. Just like Snaps up. Okay, ready? medium 58 warm. I'm just gonna Huh? I just realized so I'm left-handed. This is my left hand. So just go for it. I mean, okay So that is one layer, I think I actually might try adding some of the 62 Apart from like the raised area of the skin. Sorry about the squeaking of my chair. First star long I always wanted to try this locket foundation. I grabbed mine said meeting 59 neutral and it claims to be full coverage extreme long wear and Transfer resistant it wasn't a perfect match. It was a slightly darker So I just add some LA girls pigment and it worked really nice You really need to work fast with this foundation and blend it as quickly possible because it will dry on don't forget to prep your Skin because this foundation is very matte. I wouldn't recommend it for dryer skin

This is the KVD Lock It Tattoo Foundation. This is super full coverage. This is something that you want maybe for a special occasion or maybe to wear in the colder months because in the summer I think it's a little too heavy to wear. So now I'm gonna try this Kevyn D foundation which is amazing and so I have no makeup on right now. This is the texture, it has a great coverage. This is the medium 62 warmth and here we go. Look how it covers super well. Seriously, I love this foundation. Look at this. You saw just the little I put on my face and it was good enough to cover all my face. Look at this.
