After all these years, the KVD shade and light palette is still a really great contour palette. Let me show you how I use it. I'm gonna go in with the lightest contour shade here for my nose. We're gonna make kind of like a square. You're just gonna blend backwards away from the tip. Going in with the darker shade, we're just gonna start right there. In my opinion, having an oval shape of shadow right here just looks a lot more natural. For my hairline, I just dab on with the lightest shade and the lightest shade for my jawline. Now something that I really like to do is just use the contour palette for eyeshadow. I already did my eyes today, but I'm gonna extend my shadow into the side. Creates the illusion that your cheekbone is like jutting out further. If you overdid it with any of the contour, you can just easily even it out with some of those highlighter shades. And this is what everything looks like with a finished face of makeup. As you can see, I'm snatched. Highly recommend.

Hello, Queens. I have been wanting to test out this Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette since I was in high school. So I decided to finally get it because of three matte highlight and three matte contour shades. They don't run warm tone or too bronzy or too muddy like a lot of other contours.

I love the KVD Beauty Contour Palette. This palette is the perfect palette for those who are just starting out with contouring and for those who aren't comfortable using cream contours just yet. The palette features three shades of highlight and three shades of contour. As you can tell I've already gone ahead and put on my foundation and my concealer and I'm setting those with the lighter shade and also taking it down the bridge of my nose just to make it appear a little thinner. Here I'm taking the middle shade of the darker shades and carving out my cheeks. I also take this around my hairline and around my jawline and my chin. I'm also going up and down the bridge of my nose because this is kind of like a nose job with powder. It was a little too harsh of line so I just tapped into the lighter shades to kind of tone that down and make it match. And here's the final product.
