I'm not gonna lie to you guys, I was very nervous getting this tattoo pencil liner from Kat Von D. I'm obsessed with the color so I got it anyway, but a lot of times with pencil liners, they just do not stick to my waterline. And just aren't really good for me. But this one, even though it took me a hot second to build up the coverage because I was just not putting in enough pressure, it actually looked fantastic and it stayed in my waterline all day. I was very impressed and now I want more.

Okay, I love Kat Von D eyeliners. So when I saw this tattoo pencil liner, which I've never tried, I had to grab it. I got a fun color. I got blue. So let's put this on. I'm used to her like more marker style, but oh, this is really creamy. Really creamy. Kind of a fun like look doing the blue underneath. Whoever said blue is only for the 80s. That's fun. I really like this. Bunch of colors to try. Kat Von D, good stuff. I'm not surprised. I love it.

This is an invisible eyeliner. It's really cool. Just kidding. It's just it's really hard to make it show up. I'm dragging. I'm dragging it. I really want it to work but it doesn't. It doesn't apply well. It doesn't blend. Let's take it off and put it over concealer and see if that softens it up a little bit nicer. Let's see if it blends. As you can probably guess, I don't recommend this. Maybe the other colors are better.

Let's try the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. It's literally just tugging on my eye. Like, do you see that? It barely makes a line. It's... No. Also, update, it literally just fell out. Um, I was opening the cap and it just went whoop. Now let's compare to my Hourglass Eyeliner. See how nice that was? It didn't pull on my eye at all. Hmm. I got three of them also, so I'm really happy that I tried the free one first, and then I can just return these two for my money back. I'll give it one star. Just get the Hourglass Eyeliner.

Swatching more of the KVD products. This time it's the tattoo pencil liner in the shade blue ashes. This is what it looks like. It's a mechanical pencil that you can just twist here, and this is a navy blue color. I find that these pencils are pigmented, but they do not... they don't glide on very easily, and then it dries so quickly you can't really smudge it. It's great if you're just gonna use it to line or just do simple designs, but if you're gonna use it as a smoky eye, it dries out very quickly as you can see there. So that's disappointing. I guess I was spoiled by the lamell eyeliners where they're very creamy, and they just glide easily, so sadly these are a miss for me.

AVD eyeliner in the purple shade. I was trying to smoke it out, but it's not creamy. You just wanna draw something, you know, just a plain liner without smudging it or smoking it out, then it's fine. It's long-lasting, it's not going anywhere. That's the color. I can't even imagine putting this on my eyes. It's just rough. I like to smudge my eyeliner, so, for that smoky effect, and I'm afraid it'll, like, do more harm than good with my eyes, like, causing more wrinkles, and it's just not worth it for me.

Here's a quick and easy tip to make hazel or green eyes pop. I'm using KVD's Tattoo Pencil in Matter Red, since red is a complementary color to green. Rather than applying this on my actual eyelid, I'm going to be tightlining with this. So I'm going underneath my lashes on the waterline and applying it in between the lashes as well. The red will look the most dramatic where I'm applying it now, but it creates a soft and subtle contrast to green and hazel eyes once the eyes look forward, as you can see here. And here's how it looks with a completed face. And there you have it, an easy trick to add in to make the eye color stand out.

It's so unique and It's so nice It's a true red shade and I think it looks so flattering on brown eyes Even if you have blue eyes and gray eyes, I think this is so stunning It's so creamy but yet last all day on the world Also a twist up pencil so you don't have to sharpen it

Hi! So I have the KBD Tattoo Pencil Liner. I've tried this in the liquid liner before but this one is actually a pencil. So I have it in the shade black, Trooper Black, and I'll show you on my hand here. It does a really good just kind of basic line. I have it on right now to tightline my upper eyeline area there and then I'll finish it off with some mascara. But once it's on it really doesn't budge much. You could probably blur it out a little bit but I really like it just for a basic black eyeliner.

I'm seeing a lot of makeup looks that require tightlining and these are my best tips and tricks on how I like to do it. First, grab your favorite eyeliner and make sure it's something that's going to glide really easily and it's super pigmented. If you have eyes that tear really easily like mine do, you're going to have to break up the steps and take small pauses in between. So first step is you're going to want to lift the lashes and place the actual pencil more towards the outer corner. So once your pencil is placed on the waterline and you're looking in the opposite direction, you're just going to want to glide the pencil along the waterline. Just like this. Now for the inner corner, you're going to want to do the same thing. Place it and look in the opposite direction and then glide it along the waterline. And you can see the difference of how much fuller the lashes look on this side versus this side. And remember, always look the opposite direction of where your pencil is placed. You don't see it but you lightly feel it. Tightlining is a great way if you're just starting out with eyeliner or if you're not comfortable doing eyeliner. If you want your lashes to look a little bit fuller and it's a great prep step if you're going to wear mascara or false lashes. It's a pretty simple tightlining trick but it's a great way to get your lashes to look fuller.

This green eyeliner makes brown eyes. Pop!

Continuing with this KVD Tattoo Pencil Liner Swatching. This is in the shade for Dedegreen. It's a mechanical pencil that you control from here. This is what it looks like. If you guys already heard me, I am NOT a fan of these pencils. They do fine as a pencil, but if you're wanting to smoke out your eyes, these are not very good. They dry out very quickly. They don't smudge. Look at that. They don't do very well. They don't glide easily. They just tug at the skin and it's drying. I mean that's as far as I can get. It's long-lasting as you can tell, but if you're planning to do any smoky eye looks with these, it's not gonna work. But for our liners or simple design, it works fine. But sadly, it's a no for me. There's other liners out there.

I'm swatching another KVD tattoo pencil liner and this time it's in the color Violet Hematite. I think that's how you pronounce it. This is a mechanical pencil that you twist here. I think this is like a purpley brown color. That's what it looks like. You may have already seen my other videos but I do not care for this pencil too much because I feel like it tugs at the skin and then when you try to smudge it for like a smoky eye it's just it just tugs. It doesn't glide on very easily. It's drying. It's just not a good eyeliner for me. I mean it's good if you want to just line your eyes and stuff and do a simple design but if you want like the lamelle pencil where you can smudge it for a smoky eye this isn't it.

According to Jennifer, the eyeliner creates a basic line effortlessly, and she demonstrates its application on her hand. She also mentions using it to tightline her upper eyeline area, and once it's on, it stays put without smudging or budging. Jennifer appreciates its staying power, mentioning that it may be possible to blur it out slightly if desired.
