Bonjour! Welcome to Le Mini Macaron…

Le Mini Macaron was founded in 2015 when Christina Kao (who used to go to the salon every 2 weeks to get her gel manicure done) and Francois-Xavier Humbert (who had been working as a beauty & nail buyer for a French brand) decided to combine forces and create a nail brand that lets you DIY gel nails when you want, where you want! 

Christina (who is Taiwanese-American) and Francois (who is French) were both living in Shanghai at the time. It was really common to go to the salon to get your gel mani done…but the cost and time it took (to go there, wait around…and then to go back when you had to remove it) were serious pain points for her! So the two of them put their heads together and came up with a DIY nail kit that would give you the freedom to do your nails at your own convenience…and at a price that would be really affordable. “Gel nails shouldn’t have to be a splurge! Everyone should be able to have a gorgeous mani whenever they want. It’s a real pick-me-up when you look down and your nails are done,” says Christina. “I really wanted to make this available to everyone!”

This is the ultimate nail kit. First of all, it comes with an LED lamp, a charger, nail file, a black gel polish, remover wipes, and kabam, look at my nails.

Hey, let's test out this little mini macaron gel manicure kit. So first it comes with the LED light lamp Then you get your 3-in-1 nail polish, I got the color licorice your USB cord for the lamp, of course and Then you get a cuticle stick, nail file, and 10 remover prep pads So first to start off, I'm going to be pushing down my cuticles with the cuticle stick And then I'm going up the nail file to file down my nails I'm also using a nail file to buff my nails as well to prep the nail polish so it adheres better And I'm also using the remover pads. The nail polish adheres better You just start off with one thin coat and put it under the lamp for 30 seconds Then you repeat with another thin coat and put it under the lamp for another 30 seconds And there you have it, your gel manicure. I'm kind of a sloppy nail painter I'm sorry, but I will update you guys

I know, we all know, these things gotta go. So there you have it. Look at these things. Little macaroon. Little mini macaroons for your fingernails. Nailed it. Okay, two things. It smells terrible, and Lemony Macaroon my fingernails. Look, they're done. Now I have to go get some else.

Did you know about one step gel manicure? I didn't. And it's the easiest way of getting your nails done. This set comes with a lamp, USB cord, file, cuticle pusher, remover wraps and a full-size nail polish. You start with pushing your cuticles back and then filing the edge and surface of your nails to help with adhesion. Go ahead and wipe any dust or oil with the wraps and apply thin layers of polish. Avoid getting it on your skin, otherwise it will come off super fast. Set for 30 seconds. And this is the first coat, let's do another one. And we're done. I love this set better than the Maxi because it's smaller, the lamp cures faster and it's cheaper to start with. I'm obsessed.
