It didn't necessarily meet the shade that my hair is dyed, which is pretty freaking dark, but it did actually do what it's supposed to because I had caramel whites in here and they're now more like cappuccino shade. I'm not mad at that. I knew it was probably going to happen. I wanted to try it out. I do like that my low lights got a little bit darker, so I think it did its job and my hair feels amazing. I love Moroccan oil. I use a hairspray. I also have their like smoothing oil. Love the Moroccan oil brand. The scent is phenomenal. So if you're looking to kind of like touch your hair up a little bit or maybe you're just trying to change it in general because they have some, what is it? Lavender, pink, burgundy. There's so many varieties, but I feel like it did what I thought it should do and my roots are a little bit darker than what they were.

Okay, so it's been a little bit since I got my hair done and I get my hair colored about every four months but I can see my roots as they're growing out. I don't know if you can see them. I'm hoping the lighting is helping but when I flat iron my hair or blow dry it just straight I can see the difference which is why we are trying this out today. This is just a travel size. There is a bigger bottle of it and I have shade cocoa. Not everyone has gloves on hand but if you do and you're using the darker shades I recommend them. And mostly I just want it at my roots because my hair is really long and I only need it mostly to touch up. I'm gonna let it sit for about seven minutes and we'll wash it out and check back with you once it's done. Okay you guys, so I finished my hair and makeup and dried my hair. You can see that it did darken up my roots from what it was before.

It's time for another pink hair product review. This is the Moroccan Oil Color Depositing Hair Mask in Rose Gold. Because it's a mask, you have to put it on wet hair, so I shampooed, lightly conditioned in the shower, and now I am applying the hair mask to wet hair. You let it sit for five to 10 minutes, and then rinse it out. One of the biggest challenges I have with putting bright, fun colors in my hair is making sure that they are evenly distributed from root to tip, so I spend a lot of time massaging it into my strands. After I let it sit, I rinse it with cold water, and oh, voila, this is a really pretty, light, more of a cotton candy pink than a rose gold pink, but I'm into it, let's see how long it lasts.

So many mixed reviews on this product, just the Moroccan Oil Rose Gold Conditioning Mask and it just kind of deposits color. But my hair was almost practically all the way back to blonde and I got this. What I did differently was I put it in dry and I left it in for like 20 minutes. Here we go.

Okay, let's do this. I'm just gonna. And this is my hair after. This is definitely great for somebody who has like really light hair.

Me and my girl, Raza Mua, decided to throw a challenge here on Flip. We're dying our hair with these Moroccan oil depositing masks. And today I was using rose gold. I'm not fully blonde. I have highlights. And what I love about this mask, you can play with your highlights and you can add different shades. I tried lilac and I really loved it. Today I'm using rose gold. I wanted to get coral, but I didn't really read and it looked like coral to me, but it's a rose gold. So this is what I have. My highlights now with a little pink undertone. When I turn my head, you can see a little bit of rose reflection. Do you see that here? And this is what I love about this mask. I really love to play with my highlights this way. And I want more shades. I will get full size for sure. I really want to try pink and coral.
