So this is the NCLA First Base Ultra Base Coat, and according to the website, it is an essential primer that provides the proper protection before going all the way, with a manicure of course. And this first base is formulated to prime your nail for the perfect long-lasting manicure. It has a matte finish, which I really enjoy, and it provides a smooth surface for color application and protects your nails from the polish. So I'm super excited, I like it so far. It doesn't smell too much, so I'm gonna test it out and then let you guys know how I think. So stay tuned for this NCLA First Base.

Hey, if you haven't made it to first base yet, it's not my fault. Not really. NCLA's base coat is called First Base and it's actually what you put on your nails first before you paint your coats on and it keeps your nail polish from chipping and I think it keeps my nail polish shinier too. I can see the difference. This is my first time to use it and I gotta say I really liked it. The other thing I noticed was my nails did not smudge at all when I did them so really liking this. I definitely recommend.

When I'm looking for a top coat, I want something that's going to be extremely shiny and something that's going to make my manicure last for a long time. I don't have a lot of time to do my nails as a mom, so I want it to last as long as possible. And I love the gel look, but I don't really have time to go to the nail salon, so I think this will be a really good option for me. It went on super easily. It wasn't too thick. I've tried other top coats that were supposed to have that gel finish, and a lot of them were really goopy and hard to work with. This wasn't. It went on very, very easily, and I love the look with it. It has that almost mirror-like finish to it. Without it, it still has a pretty finish, but it's not that almost glass-like look that you want with gel-looking nails. I also love this brand. It's cruelty-free, it's vegan, and it's woman-owned. I'm definitely going to be keeping this in my routine.

If you're really bad about keeping up your nails, this is your video. This is what my hands look like a lot of the time and it's not attractive. In fact, it's unattractive. This, however, is five seconds later and look at just how much more how pretty this is. I love this. Love, love. You know I love my pale pinks but this right here NCLA polish is doing me right.
