This can be used every day on wet or dry hair. You don't have to use it just when you wash your hair. It does provide a little bit of heat styling protection. I don't recommend putting this on your roots because you don't want your hair to look greasy or oily, but really from about your ears down, this is just going to give you that healthy, luscious, shiny, beautiful hair that you're looking for.
