Guys, I absolutely died when I saw Ulla Henriksen was on Flip and I got the Cold Plunge Pore Mask. Alright. No way. I'm sorry, you guys can't even see through this screen, but this color is just... I can't. Okay, but why does this color just make me so happy? So this is a cooling face mask made to shrink pores and it is inspired by the Cold Plunge step in the Scandinavian sauna cycle. I can feel the cooling already and I just love how it's blue to match that kind of feeling. It's been 15 minutes and it's time to wash it off. So I wash it off and I apply my moisturizer and my serums and I do feel like it minimized some of my pores and interestingly enough, I think it reduced some of the fine lines I have.

I do some things in the name of beauty that make me uncomfortable. This cold plunge pore mask from Mold Hendrickson is on that list right next to ice rollers. It's inspired by the cold plunge step of the Scandinavian sauna cycle, which I probably would never do and has been said to feel like an ice blanket. Lactic acid is working to target surface level exfoliation of dead skin. Salicylic acid works to penetrate deeper to unclog pores and reduce production of sebum. Overall, it's chilly but tolerable and the benefits outweigh the discomfort. My skin tone is more even and brighter and it feels and looks smoother. This is an example of a mask I can love because it delivers visible, instant results and it's a fun sensorial experience.
