When I started Pacifica 25 years ago, it wasn’t because I was like: there aren’t any brands that work for me. It was that I was not seeing brands that aligned with my values AND were effective at the same time. I thought my goal was a simple one: create products using natural ingredients that were vegan and minimized the use of petrochemicals. It turns out this is actually really hard, especially before suppliers caught up to consumers. I had to learn a lot about sustainability, naturals, our dependance on industrial farming and the petrochemical industry. I’m proud to say 25 years later that we’ve stayed firm on our mission of leading with compassion for the planet, animals and you – always being cruelty-free & vegan, continuing to challenge ourselves and the beauty industry on sustainable packaging, developing with clean, naturally-derived and effective ingredients, and having a positive impact (social justice, etc…)

Okay, I have another dupe. I don't know if you're ready for this one. I have a dupe for the Youth to the People Kale Superfood Cleanser. This is a cult classic and we all love it, right? Okay, but I found something that has a much better price point and actually cleaner ingredients. Meet the Kale Detox Deep Cleansing Face Wash by Pacifica. You guys, Pacifica is coming in clutch over and over and over again. This has coconut water, super greens, and it feels and smells almost identical to this one that I've been using forever. So I like it because, first of all, the price point, but when I rated it on the EWG Skin Deep app, this actually had less allergens than this product. So that really blew my mind. So I would give it a try if you're looking for a dupe that does the same thing at a better price point.

You know it's not that easy to find a good face wash without SLS. If you have acne prone skin or sensitive skin, any kind of skin, try to cut SLS and alcohol and alcohol denat in your skin routine and makeup routine and you will see your skin will get better. And it's super hard to find something without SLS because even sensitive skin products they still have SLS and even alcohol denat. This face wash is my holy grail. I use it twice a day. I absolutely love it. I love it even better than used to the people kale face wash which is my favorite too. This one is more affordable but just try to use something without SLS for your face and you will see your face, your skin will get better and better and better.

Has great ingredients like coconut water, clay, and super greens. This is a deep cleaning face wash, and it doesn't strip your skin. It leaves my skin feeling nice and clean without that dry, tight feeling. I absolutely love this face wash.

Believe me, SLS-free face wash will change your skincare game. I'm telling you as a 37-years-old person who's aging and fighting acne, my favorite face wash by Pacifica. This one is sulfate-free, which is super important for me. I cannot tell that SLS causes acne, but I can tell that using SLS-free face wash literally changed my skincare game. I'm using the Ordinary Squalene Cleanser, and after I follow with the Gel Without SLS, this one smells like coconuts. I know a lot of people hate coconut scents because they're like choking you, they're too sweet, but this one is very gentle and super light.
