The reviewer, Allison, compared the Mothership VII Palette by .Pat McGrath Labs. with a $24 ColourPop palette to determine if the $100 price difference is worth it. She found that the Pat McGrath palette had superior color payoff and was more pigmented. The sparkle shade in particular was difficult to replicate, but the Pat McGrath palette outperformed the others. Allison also mentioned that the Pat McGrath palette was comfortable to wear, not chunky, and had good payoff. Overall, she concluded that while both palettes were enjoyable, the Pat McGrath palette was the better option.
