So I just got out of the shower and I'm about to use the Pattern Curl Gel for the first time. On the ingredients I noticed that they have aloe, rosemary, and hydrolyzed silk which is really gonna help make my curls healthier and so I'm excited to smell this and see how it affects my curl pattern as it dries. Wow it's really fresh. It says to apply to damp hair so I'm just gonna put about a pea-sized amount and go ahead and diffuse it and I'll let you know how it holds up but so far I really like the non-sticky sort of lather that it's creating. It's almost like a leave-in conditioner texture so yeah I'm really excited to try this product out and see how it helps my curls hold their pattern throughout the day.

Watch my hair go from flat to curly. This is because of my signature way of styling my hair called the bowl method. I did not invent the bowl method, but it is the way that I do it every single day. You will need one bowl that is big enough to fit your head in and then some gel. I use the pattern curl gel and I just put it in my hair and I dip it into the water a few times then scrunch the hair up. Scrunching is when you bring the tip all the way to the root and then squeeze at the top. I'm dunking into the bowl and scrunching about three times on each side. Next, you're going to use a towel or a t-shirt. I prefer a t-shirt, but I'm using a towel this time to scrunch dry the hair. This is what it looks like immediately after. Also, I wanted to show you guys that I went through this entire bottle in like a month, so I got the big one instead. But anyways, this is what it looks like halfway dry. This is what it looks like fully dry. If you want to enhance your curls or waves, I would 100% give the bowl method a try.

Let me let you in on a secret of how you get this soft, bouncy, curly hair. So it's this patterned curl gel. It's great for all curl types like waves to coils. This is it before it looks really flat and gross. I'm not thrilled, obviously. And this is me after scrunching in with water. And this is the after. It's super bouncy, like I said, not crispy or crunchy, not heavy. It's super lightweight and I would give it five stars.

Hi everyone, I just tried out this pattern curl gel. Just washed my hair, put a dollop through, let my hair air dry and this is the result. There's nothing else in my hair. I put a little bit of root lift but there's so much fullness in the rest of my hair and it brought out a lot of curl because my hair is just kind of wavy but as you can see it brought out a lot more curl which is amazing and this is actually for a lot of different hair types so wavy, curly, it says coily, it's in tight textures as well so it'll work for a lot of different hair types and I really love this brand. So it's owned by Tracee Ellis Ross. You can check her out. She's done a documentary called The Hair Tales. So I just highly recommend this brand and this product.

So we're gonna try out the patterned curl gel. I have never tried this before, but I heard good things. My hair's already kind of curly, well, it's like wavy. So I'm really curious to see like how it will hold, but I'm just gonna go ahead and leather it up through my hair. My hair is damp, duh, like I just got out of the shower. So I'm gonna see how it holds when it kind of like dries a little bit more. Okay, so now that is set. This is my hair now. I like that it doesn't feel hard like other gels. It feels nice and soft. And the smell on this is amazing. Okay, she's nice and curly and ready to concord. I was gonna say she's ready to conquer the day, but I'm about to go to sleep. So she's ready to conquer the night with a nice curly hair, fresh for the morning.

Alright, so we're looking at my hair in its natural state. It's freshly washed. No product on it. Type 4a hair. And I'm gonna try out the Pattern Mousse product. Now, I typically do not use a mousse for curl definition. I absolutely have to use a gel. However, I noticed that when using a mousse prior to using a gel, that my hair dries a lot quicker and I have way better definition. You can just see I'm gliding through with the Pattern shower brush and just the mousse on my hair. And you can see what definition I get just from the mousse alone. I'm just gonna top this off with some Pattern curl gel so it'll hold a little better. But yeah, I recommend this product. It smells great. It feels great on my hair. And it dried a lot quicker than my normal wash and go process.

Okay, and then so after I use the leave-in conditioner from Pattern, I take the curl mousse from Pattern as well. This just helps define my curls. I put one to two pumps in my hands and scrunch it into my hair. This stuff, I've used other curl mousses before and they end up leaving my hair super starchy and like almost like stuck together like hairspray. This stuff is baby soft when you put it in and it evenly distributes itself so nicely. And look at what it's already done for my hair.

Hello everyone. I used the Curl Mousse again for my wash day and I really enjoy how it shortens the styling process because I don't have to use any other products to get the job done. It gets messy, but I like the foamy texture. Have you tried this?

So I have used many curl mousses in my time. I would say my hair's, I don't want to say my hair's curly because that offends some people because my hair's not as like curly as curly, but I also don't think my hair is straight. And so I've been using mousse for a lot of times. So I put a couple of pumps in my hands and I kind of scrunch it, but I also kind of like work it through. And it has been doing wonders for my hair. It smells delicious. I really love that it comes in like a smaller size as well as the bigger size because I like to try things out before I commit to like the big bottle of it. And so I do this and then I plop my hair in a either t-shirt or pop towel and we're good to go. So now my hair is plopped in a 100% cotton t-shirt and it'll look great when it comes out.

Hey guys, just used the Pattern Edge Control. This stuff is amazing. It has cucumber and aloe extract as well as castor seed oil. So all that combined is going to help prevent breakage. It's holding super well, but it is super soft. It doesn't feel like I used any hairspray, gel or any thick pomade like this. It's not going to make your hair hard or flaky. So this is really good for layering and it has that really high shine. The consistency isn't that tacky either. Another great thing about this is that it's not just for ethnic hair. This is for anybody that wants to lay down any flyaways, have a little less frizz. It's all about the amount that you use. Just use a tiny bit and it's going to make such a difference. This is great and it's for everyone.

Hey Flip, your girl's getting ready for bed and to prepare my hair for bed I like to use Pattern's Hydrating Mist to give my curls a little extra moisture. The Hydrating Mist contains Glycerin which is a humectant and humectants draw in moisture from the air surrounding your hair which means that you get to wake up to moisture infused curls every morning. I'm using the pineapple method which means I'm just going to gather my curls to the top of my head and use a pineapple to secure them in place. I'm also going to tie a scarf around my head to help protect my edges because you know sleeping on those cotton pillowcases is no bueno for our hair. In the morning when I take it down I'm going to spray the Hydrating Mist again to add a little extra moisture and to refresh my curls. I highly recommend you add this to your regimen if your hair needs a little extra moisture boost. 

We love this product so much in my household is empty. It's time to reorder. Get you some today. It's very moisturizing. And I just love it. And the scent is so... I don't know... I'm trying to describe that scent but it's so...
