I got this Rahua heat protectant with my last order and let me tell you, it smells like vacation in a bottle. It's the most addictive scent. I can't even describe it. It's like kind of sweet coconut pineapple and it smells so good. It's like primarily like natural good for you ingredients. I've heard great things about this brand and so it's a plant-based leave-in spray to protect against heat damage, acts as a primer, reduces breakage, hydrates, adds shine, and let me tell you, the smell alone is enough to keep me buying this. So highly recommend.

So today I'm going to be reviewing the Ruhua Heat Protectant Shield Mist. I've tried a couple different things from this brand and I love them all so I kind of had high hopes for this one specifically. I needed a new heat protectant and I thought, well, I like their stuff so might as well give them a shot. This was a free item so I will say I'm happy it was free because I just don't care for the way it makes my hair feel, personally. So it does a really good job when it comes to heat protecting qualities and it does a good job with reducing breakage and all of that. All those claims that it says, it does. I just don't like the way it makes my hair feel afterwards. I've noticed this with other heat protectant mists. I'm used to heat protectant serums so maybe that's why I don't care for the way that this is. I think if you're used to heat protectant mists, you'll probably love this because it's very similar to other ones I've tried. But it's just not my jam, you know?
