Who We Are.
We embarked on this journey to create a clean beauty brand that was glamorous, innovative and luxe.
And so in 2019, RÓEN was born.

Our Story


RÓEN Beauty was Co-founded by beauty devotee and clean beauty advocate Tiffany Thurston Scott in the heart of Los Angeles. After collaborating with world renowned fashion photographer David Roemer on ROEN’s first campaign shoot, David joined RÓEN as Co-Founder and Creative Director. Mindful of the makeup artistry she so admired, Tiffany wanted artistry to be at the heart of the brand and after working with various makeup artists she eventually met Global Celebrity Make-up Artist Kate Synnott whose keen knowledge of makeup and product innovation created a synergy among the three of them. Soon after, Kate became RÓEN's Beauty Creative Director. 

Our CEO, Tiffany grew up in the mountainous state of Utah, where she developed an exceptional appreciation for nature and holistic living. After moving to the coast of Southern California to pursue her academic studies, Tiffany found that beyond her love for living on the Pacific Coast, she was beginning to develop a passion for the glamour and allure that was woven into Angeleno culture. Always enjoying testing and playing with various cosmetics, it wasn’t long until Tiffany realized that most of her favorite iconic brands were formulated with harmful ingredients. As she continued to educate herself, she discovered there was a real need for luxe, high performing cosmetics that also serve those who are mindful of harmful ingredients and ethical practices. Tiffany immersed herself in the world of clean beauty, researching ingredients and collaborating with talented makeup artists who also share this philosophy. 

  

 
New York native David Roemer joined the company shortly after its inception, spearheading the creative direction of the brand. His creative vision shaped RÓEN’s unique point of reference of being a contemporary fashion forward, luxurious clean beauty brand.   
 
 

 
As Beauty Creative Director Kate integrates her years of beauty, celebrity make-up artistry and red carpet experience to RÓEN. Originally from Ireland, Kate’s expertise is modern Hollywood glamour with glowing skin that accentuates each clients’ natural beauty.  As former Global Lead Artist for British beauty mogul Charlotte Tilbury, Kate worked alongside Charlotte for red carpet events and editorial photo shoots while simultaneously gaining notability and creating a high-profile client list of her own. She has created makeup looks for celebrities at every major red carpet event globally from the Met Gala and Golden Globes to the Cannes Film Festival. Kate’s work has been featured in Vogue, In Style Magazine, Love Magazine, Allure, Marie Claire, Numéro, New York, Elle, and many others.

All right. Good morning, Flip. So this is my first time doing a review of a product. This is the Every A-Thing Eye Brush by Rowan. Overall, I have to say that this is an okay product, not my favorite. The eyeshadow brush itself goes on perfectly, but the smudging and like crease line, it just gets kind of everywhere. And I'll show you, what I like about this is I'm able to build, this is like my fourth layer, and it goes on smoothly and stays exactly where you want it to be. So over here, I tried to do my crease and the brush doesn't have enough bristles or isn't strong enough. I did put a lot on in a dark color where this is normally pretty easy for me. And this is actually like my fourth or fifth time going in trying to do this, and it's just not doing anything for me. So I'll stick to my regular crease brush, but thank you for listening.

Hey guys! So this is the Rowan Beauty Everything Eye Brush. It's a double-sided brush. One side is meant for you know eye shadows. It's a very full soft brush. The other side is a thinner brush. Here's what it looks like and it's actually a really nice weight. Whoa! Whoa! Not only is the brush... Wow! Look at that! That's so smooth. I like it. I'm loving it. I'm going to go ahead and do this really quickly. I'm going to pick this up too. Use the small side. And this is perfect for putting it right there on your waterline. This is a really amazing brush. This is the Rowan Beauty eyeshadow brush. It's a dual-ended eyeshadow brush with a fluffy end for blending and then that pointed end for more detailed work, or if you're looking for more of an eyeliner look. It works really well with their eyeshadow palettes, making for a great easy way to do a beautiful look. It's honestly a must-have for any simple kit.

I'm going to show you how to create a foolproof one shadow look using the Rowan Everything Eye Brush. It's dual ended with a dense domed side and a smaller pointed side. The fibers are synthetic, cruelty-free, and vegan. I'm using a shadow from the Rowan 75 quad since the brush is made to work with Rowan shadows. I'm using the pointed side to apply the shadow along my lash line in a thick way. Then I use the domed side to blend the thick line upwards towards my brow bone. This method allows for a really diffused look. In the end I go back and add a bit more shadow liner for definition. To be honest I don't like this brush for Rowan shadows because I prefer a bit more color payoff. If you prefer extremely diffused cobbler applications this brush is good for that. It retails for over $30 though and you may already have similar brushes at home so I would pass on it.
