I was so excited to receive my Squiggs Gooseberry Oil, the product works serious miracles, you'll just have to see at the end what I mean. It comes in a huge bottle and it smells kind of florally and earthy. I've never done hair oiling before and I know it's been around for a long time. Squiggs bases their formula from Ayurvedic ingredients which is an ancient holistic approach to health. That super intrigued me. I applied it really liberally and the Gooseberry oil is so interesting because it didn't leave my hands feeling greasy at all. You can use it right before you shower but it's recommended for best results to do overnight. So I put on a bonnet, went to sleep and I woke up the next day with my hair feeling so oily. But it was surprisingly really easy to wash out and after shampooing my hair as well my scalp felt so clean and lightweight like I just went to a salon or something. I immediately felt like my hair was more voluminous and lightweight. Like look at this shine, where has this been my whole entire life? I am so obsessed with this.

It's been You know people have been doing this for a very very long time in many different cultures So this is a squigs. It is a amla hair oil from a gooseberry plant And there's a lot of different other oils in it You know coconut orange pill oil apricot oil ton of different stuff. That's like really great for your hair You can read the ingredient list but I've put it through my hair not as the overnight treatment because you can put it all through your hair and wear it overnight and Then rinse it out or you can just do like a spot treatment It did not weigh down my natural wave and it smoothed out the hair and made it so shiny Very excited to try it as an overnight treatment and I'll update you on that highly recommend

This stuff is cruelty free, vegan, silicone, and paraben free, and it honestly smells so freaking good. This is gonna make your scalp so nourished. Obviously after bleaching it this last time it has taken the life out of my hair. If you've applied it, just comb it through. I think this is best to use either at night or the day before hair washing day because it obviously makes you look like a grease ball, but it's gonna make your scalp feel a lot better and it's gonna make your hair shiny and healthy and who doesn't want nice shiny healthy hair? Especially if you color your hair, you need to start using things that repair it. I look crazy right now but give this a try if you really want something nice and nourishing for your scalp.
