I got this not because I've never tried it before, but because this is my holy grail brush for difficult hair. I have had one of these for years. I have really thick hair, super prone to getting knotted and all of that. I brush it in the shower with conditioner and this is the only brush that I find is gentle enough, but also really gets the job done. I can literally not tell you how much I love this brush enough. Literally, if you have knotted hair or a lot of hair or hair that's prone to breakage, this is it.

of hair. You have to brush out your tangles before they get bad. You may have heard that over brushing is bad and while this may be true, your definition of over brushing may be off. If you have tangles or knots in your hair, please brush them out. This is not considered over brushing. Over brushing is when your hair is 100% tangle free but you keep brushing an unnecessary amount. Everyone is going to need to brush their hair a different amount. Long hair needs it more than short hair and thin hair needs it more than thick hair.

So I tried the Tangle Teaser detangling hairbrush on my daughter. Right away compared to other hairbrushes, you'll notice that the bristles are sharper and more flexible. My daughter has never cut her hair since birth and her hair is beautiful but it gets tangled so easily. It does look like I'm aggressively combing her hair but she is actually making a lot less complaints. The Tangle Teaser definitely works well with a detangling spray, we just didn't use it for this video.
