Our Story
Founded by leading hair colourist Shaun P in London in 2007, Tangle Teezer began life as an idea in a salon and has grown to become a global business which has sold over 50 million hairbrushes worldwide.

Born from 30 years spent working in top salons and looking for a quick and easy way to detangle knots without tugging and pulling, Shaun had his ‘lightbulb’ moment in 2003.

Research, design, development and refinement followed - as well as a ‘we’re out’ appearance on Dragons’ Den - until in 2007 The Original detangling hairbrush launched becoming an instant sensation.

Not stopping at just one invention, the innovation has continued, many awards have been won, and our ground-breaking hairbrushes have moved beyond an array of detangling hairbrushes to include blow-drying and styling hair tools. All made using our patented teeth technology, which you won’t find on any other hairbrush, the power’s in the teeth, and always will be.

We’re proud to design and manufacture all of our hairbrushes in Great Britain. We’ve won two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise with Shaun meeting Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace, and he also became an ambassador for the government’s GREAT Britain campaign.

wet to tan clean hair brush. I got the mini size so I could take it to school and it is a lot smaller than I expected. I don't mind though because then it means my backpack would just be less heavier and there'll be more room. But this is the size of it compared to my hand. It is so tiny and so cute. The color is very accurate.

I was so excited to see the travel size tangle teaser on flip. I had to get one It's such a nice hairbrush. So cute Works really well for thick hair getting out all your knots easy to clean Highly recommend adding one to your cart

Hey you guys I just got my Tangle Teaser Wet Detangling Brush from Flip and I'm excited to try it out. I just took my hair out of a braid and I slept with it all night so my hair gets pretty tangled. I'm kind of nervous but I'm excited to try it out. Okay a little tangle there. Okay it's going through pretty smoothly actually. It doesn't catch on to the knots. My hair is kind of long so but yeah it goes through pretty smoothly. I'm loving this. I can't wait to try it out in the shower to see how it does wet to dry but yeah it's grabbing my knots and just easing through them. I love this. I love this brush. You guys got to check it out.

I'm here to try out my new Elf lip exfoliator and it's in the flavor coconut. I've tried other more expensive brand lip exfoliators before and this is only like five bucks I was pretty excited to try. Oh wow okay it's really buttery and I love it. I love this. I tell you it works just as well as some more expensive brands and for only five bucks.

This is the cutest little brush, but do not underestimate its power. It works so incredibly well to get rid of all of my tangles without leaving any frizz. Its small size makes it so easy and portable to travel with or use on the go. I would definitely recommend trying it for yourself.

This is for all my 3C to 4C girlies. Now if you got curly hair like me, I know it is important for you to have the right brush to help you detangle your curls without losing that much hair. Now I love this brush because look at the color, it's super cute. And it's the bristles for me. You see the long ones and the short ones? I honestly can spend about 45 minutes combing out my hair in the shower. And this literally cut down the time by 20 minutes. Look at that. So smooth. Go get it.

Okay, if you want to know how to get your kids curls or waves looking like this, you gotta start out by detangling. I do use vegan low-talk silicone free products on her hair, which unfortunately does mean it gets more tangly because it's not covered in artificial ingredients and heavy silicones. After spraying a detangler, we always start from the bottom of her hair and work our way up. This process in its entirety took us about three minutes, and we also always brush it until her hair is a hundred percent smooth. This is going to create a super even canvas to be able to apply mousse, curl cream, or the product of your choice much more efficiently and evenly. This tangle teaser brush comes in a variety of sizes and colors and retails for about $14.99.

This one will be very fast review. I really liked it. I tried it for myself and on my daughter's hair and it worked great so it's yes for me.

Okay, so I just got the Tangle Tisa hairbrush. It's supposed to work on all hair types and on wet hair. So right now I'm on like my sixth day hair. So I have a lot of knots in my hair. We're about to go test this out. Okay, so I just put a mask in my hair and look how like the brush is gliding through my hair. Like look how my curls are balancing. This is the best brush I've ever used ever.
