This is the plant that made me decide I'm not ever buying from this seller anymore because when I got this Chinese evergreen, she wasn't actually in the soil. This wasn't the starter pot that she came in, but her roots were actually entirely out of the dirt. So she's been kind of recovering since then. I gave her like this little support pole and she's loosely tied with twine and she's been getting good watering with some good lighting since then. She's gonna make a recovery, but she was very very near death when she was received. Gorgeous! And I'm not sending her back because I don't know if she would actually make the travel because she was in such bad conditions when I got her, but yeah.

When she received the Chinese Evergreen 'Lady Valentine', it wasn't actually in the soil and its roots were entirely out of the dirt. Despite the poor condition, DeSiree decided to keep the plant and has been taking good care of it with a support pole, twine, and proper watering and lighting. The plant is slowly recovering from near death and is looking gorgeous. Although DeSiree is unsure if the plant would have survived the travel back, she is satisfied with its progress. Overall, the Chinese Evergreen 'Lady Valentine' has the potential to thrive with proper care, but buyers should be cautious about the initial condition upon arrival.
