Alright, so we have been slowly getting these Butchcraft, or sorry, the Cooking Guild. This is the Butchcraft knife. It's a fillet knife. I'm having a hard time like getting a good camera angle on it, but this thing is so sharp. It is so good for cutting meat. My husband absolutely loves it. It's been a great addition to our kitchen, and I am actually getting ready to order another Cooking Guild knife because they are so, so good.

Hey loves, look what I just received from the Cooking Guild. It is a filet knife. I am super excited. Look how beautiful that is. Super sharp and it has a nice little handle. So I am going to go ahead and chop up or peel my apple. Okay, let's go ahead and get her peeled. Now this is my first time trying a filet knife so I am going to try to get as thin as I possibly can. Look how thin those peels are. Nice. So yeah, this knife is like super sharp. I cannot wait to try this on some fish. I am thinking it would be really easy to like filet some salmon skin. So yeah, this is a must try and this is by the Cooking Guild. Go ahead and check them out.

All right, this is a fillet knife from the Cooking Guild. That is sharp. All right, let's see how it fillets. Oh my goodness. This is like butter, but it's a raw potato and it's huge. Okay, this is too fun. Wow. Dang.

Let's unbox this knife. It's a cleaver from the cooking guild First things first is a quick care and maintenance guide which for me I don't know a lot about about knives And so I feel like this is so helpful like you should oil your knife after each use didn't know that Don't use bleach dry it immediately and sharpen with a wet stone It's gonna help me to take care of this one really well, so it's all wrapped up in this foam. You can see that And it is already oiled which is weird I've never had an oiled knife before this thing is heavy-duty like it's heavy in my hand these are High-carbon steel knives and they will rust fast if you don't properly maintain them I am one of those people who I want ease But if you just tell me what to do like the care instructions do I'm gonna be able to maintain this knife, and I have a feeling it's gonna be around our house for a while

Truthfully, most of the knives in my kitchen are made by Global, but I've had them forever and wanted to switch things up, so I'm testing out the Cooking Guild knives. This is their 8-inch high-carbon steel hand forged chef's knife, and I'm putting it to the ultimate test, which for me is just slicing a tomato. This particular knife sliced through the tomato like it was butter. It required absolutely zero pressure and gave me paper-thin slices. As I mentioned, it's a chef's knife, so it's great for everyday tasks like slicing and dicing, basic meat carving, pretty much anything that you're gonna do in the kitchen on a regular basis. I probably wouldn't use it for things like fish slicing, anything super delicate, or herbs, but this is a great day-to-day knife. Also, the blade is textured and sexy and looks expensive, so I'd say it's probably a great starter knife if you're looking to add to your collection.

Alright, alright, it's time for an honest review. We've got this Nomad Series knife and I'm not gonna lie, from the looks of it, I'd rate it a 7 out of 10. But let's put it to the test. First things first, I was pretty impressed by level 1. But trust me, we got many more levels to go, but we can celebrate level 1. Alright, on to level 2, let's get it. Boom! Okay, let's try that again. Eh, still not the way I wanted it, but I'll give it a nice little rating of a 7 out of 10 for this level. It's nice, I like the strokes, and honestly it just looks good cutting. Now let's up the ante a little bit with level 3, and honestly, yeah, it flies past that level. We can drink to that. I'm gonna go ahead and give that an 8 out of 10. But now we're gonna take it to the big league. Let's see what it can do, and it slices right through that level as well. Overall, I'd say 8.5 out of 10. Not too shabby for some German steel, I'd say.

As an amateur chef, I have always wanted a really amazing knife, and this one is truly worth every penny. I mean, look at the stunning detail. It's probably the most high-quality knife I have ever used, and it's definitely a 10 out of 10.
