Hey guys, so today I'm reviewing the Ordinary Grenactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane. I have no idea how I'm pronouncing this. This is retinol. It's a 5% retinol. This is my most favorite retinol I think that I've ever used. I've tried a bunch of different brands, but I always keep coming back to this one. It's super affordable and it's like a very high concentration retinol. I used to have sensitive skin, but honestly it's kind of worked its way up to being a little bit more adaptive to different products. I've never had any issues with breakouts or hives with this one right here. It's very moisturizing for a retinol. It does not dry your skin out and it just comes on very smooth, very affordable. I love the Ordinary. I highly, highly recommend this as a starter, but also just to keep coming back to. It's a phenomenal product.

I'm using 2% but when I will be done with this 2% bottle I will be ready for 5% and I'm super excited. Of course I use my retinol at night. It's a part of my nighttime routine and this is what I double cleanse with my squalene cleanser. Then I apply one dropper of retinol all over my face, neck and chest and I even put a little bit around my eyes. I tested that before. Maybe it might not work for you. You have to be careful with that but yes I put the same product around my eyes and then I follow with my eye cream. After retinol I love to follow with azelaic acid. Then I put moisturizer on top. Since it's nighttime routine I do have to follow with sunscreen. It's pretty easy but super effective. Next morning don't forget moisturizer. Please don't forget moisturizer. It's super important so you don't waste it.

This is the Ordinary Moisturizer. Because the cleanser's creaminess is gonna take me some getting used to, and the marula oil is for my hair, and to be entirely honest, I didn't get the product that I was most excited to use. They sent me something else entirely, like a peeling solution, and I have like, I can't use a peeling solution right now. So that was a little bit of a bummer, but this moisturizer was absolutely fantastic. I use another face oil made by my organic lube company actually, but this isn't an ad for that, and I could tell that this really locked everything in. So I was honestly very happy with this moisturizer. And it's a good compliment to the cleanser, which is also very creamy.

So I want to do a review on the Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors Plus HA Moisturizer. I would say it is for combination skin, which I do have. In my T-zone it's oily, but the rest is just normal. But I wouldn't say it's the best. I do feel dry on some parts of my face still. It's not the best. Some people like it, but I feel like it leaves a sticky feeling on my face. Kind of tight. It just doesn't feel moisturizing. My face just feels like I put something over it. It takes a lot to rub in. It's not thin. A little bit goes a long way. So I wouldn't say it's the best. I would give this 3, maybe 4.5 stars. Halfway.

So I reordered the Ordinary Moisturizing Cream and this is the one I've been using. It's literally almost gone. But I had to restock on it because literally I live by this. Morning, night, I always, a little glow because I just put my serum on. So as I'm doing my night skin routine, I literally just massage it and just... And it's like almost no scent and you just rub it all over your face. And literally you guys, like it helped, it has helped my skin so much for the past, I've been using it for roughly a year now. And it literally, my skin, I used to have acne like up here really bad, like up my chin, on my lower face. And as I've been doing my skincare routine, it's helped me so much. So I highly recommend the Ordinary. So go get it right now.

I think the reason why I didn't have good results before is that I didn't use right products. I didn't follow, I didn't have right schedule, like right system, which I have now. I didn't moisturize because I thought that I have to dry my skin. Stop skipping moisturizer. You have to moisturize, especially if you use salicylic acids, azelaic acids, retinols, niacinamides, all this good stuff. Of course, your moisturizer has to be light. I already have a lot of stuff on my face, and on top of that, I'm gonna put sunscreen because it's important. Don't skip your sunscreen. But I think this moisturizer is one of the best I have for oily skin and as a finishing touch for my night routine after retinol.

If you want your face to stay moisturized all day, please get this. Okay, you will not be disappointed I promise
